Also note that when Jules use two copies of the record to extend the break of Darude - 'Sandstorm' some audio problems occur, resulting in one of the channels continuously dropping when changing the record. This has been on all versions of the set we have checked. Please contact us if you have a better quality version. Glenn J
Im sure the trouble when Sandstorm comes on is because the decks got wet as it p***ed it down that day! I dont think its because of the version you have just how it was live.

Hardaway
Spoiled & Zigo - 'More & More' (Flickman Remix) [Manifesto] Slight correction here! The remix is actually called 'Pants & Corset Homelands Mix' Great Set from the Judge his homelands mixes were always spot on.

Neuro
I have a lot of this knocking around in crystal clear MD. Will hunt it out if it's better quality than this! Great set.
bigsteve
Such a shame that Sandstorm is affected by the sound problems. Good set nevertheless.
Quadrant
20. Kayestone - 'Atmosphere' (Da Hool Mix) [Distinctive] Sorry sirs, but isn't this the "Kayestone Re-Con Mix"? Nothing to do with Da Hool!? Also, WHY WHY WHY don't Distinct'ive records have this for download? Have they ignored their back catalogue for digital conversion for any particular reason? Tremor
Sorry sirs, but isn't this the "Kayestone Re-Con Mix"? Nothing to do with Da Hool!? I believe you are right Sir. I've just been entering tracklists to the new tracklist section of the board and came accross this mistake there too.. I have corrected in the new tracklist. Also the audio problems with Darude - Sandstorm seem obvious to me: Jules is trying to do a DJ trick with 2 copies of the tune. However he has not properly matched the audio level between the 2 channels on the mixer - hence one sounds much louder than the other. Also he has not properly matched the speeds - one is much faster than the other which is very noticeable since the pitch is obviously way different too. There won't be a better copy of the set out there since the errors were surely in the way Jules was doing the live extended mix.
Tremor
I've also noticed another important little fact. This show was moved from its usual 5:00pm - 7:00pm slot to 7:00pm - 9:00pm slot for one week only. I remember this at the time and Jules also mentions the 2 hour difference when he announces last year's tried and tested tune. I believe Dave Pearce was then on at 9:00pm - 10:00pm I think this was to provide a more natural flow as Seb Fontaine was probably moved to 5:00pm - 7:00pm as his style would have been more of a natural warm up for Jules.. I can't confirm that though... my memory is a bit hazy of that fact.

Spin Doctor
does anyone remember jules spinning from one deck to another, like he did with sandstorm on the breakdown but playing Brainbugs Nightmare?? Cant find it anywhere!! He did this a number of times when he 'rediscovered' Nightmare in 2001. The most notable and, as far as I know, only recorded version of this is Judge Jules @ Trance Energy 2001 [21-10-2001]. This can be downloaded from the archive here.
