Some may know, others may not, but soon I shall be hosting a charity event in my local town where I will be DJ'ing live for about 5 hours non-stop.

Just like everyone does I make mixes each month, and because I have been preparing mixes for this event over the past 3 months or so, I have decided to just use my warm-up mix this time rather than putting something seperate together:

Its easy to notice how there are a few commercial tunes in there, but I didn't want them to take over the style so I made sure they were remixes

Now since the chances of people on here going to the event are slim (it is an event for the sixth formers at my school), I thought I would share the rest of the tracklists for you all to feast your eyes on. Where the hell is everyone getting durands mix of madagascar from has he given it out or something?

I think it has been leaked out there now Jason. Not sure if is actually the official version though or just a remake???

Yeah the Madagascar remix has been available since around the time Jules started playing it (on a website that I won't name here) (PM me if you want the site URL). There was a version with a half length intro (possibly a rip) floating round for ages but about a couple of months ago the full version was leaked.

What I don't like about some versions people have is at the start of the track, when the famous Madagascar tune comes in, you can hear the echo get cut off. I don't have that in my version

Anyone thinking of downloading the mix? I know its got some commercial cheese but its not that bad.

the only problem people dont know about the remix is that 1st people shared some kind off set rip after that some guy mabie some of you now it Cristian Ketelaars ,,done a Reconstruction off the remix and it was almost 8.50min long and people believed it was real and played ass real .. but i can promisse just some people get the real version include JJ.AVB.Markus Schultz .and mabie some others but Richard Durands album will be soon avalibe and the real version can be avalible for everyone i hope ...

Yes the real version of this tune will be released and will be on 'Blackhole/Platipus' there was an issue with getiing it realised but I belive an agreement has been made so by the end of January it will be available

Good stuff, cheers for that Chrissie. I'm thinking of making a new warm-up mix for the event, less commercialised. I would enjoy doing it more if it wasn't full of popular tunes, but keeping them mellow (134bpm)

While I am in this topic though ... I have remade the warm-up mix (which was the download available) because I think its sh!t and not in my comfort zone. I intend to share my style and the mix here doesnt do that. I didnt like the commercial stuff which I found out the people dont want either (cant complain!)

I like a lot of the tracks in the mix, it started well but then I got caught up trying to play the stuff I thought people would enjoy more early in the night, but then the tracks doesn't suit the mixes after it at all. Trance all the way babe
