emy
It was my birthday this week What really annoys me is that at least twice this week, once when trying on some black shoes I get asked "Are they for school?" Another time while sourcing fabrics on the market I get "Are you looking for fabrics for school?" I must look at least 7 years younger than I am I know I am lucky as when I am in my 30s I will look like I am still in my 20s But at this age I would like to look more my age I do try Complaining over
simonross46
Hope you had a great birthday Emy I'm often told I look much older than I actually am. Some people confuse me for my brother too because I do look older than him at times and he is 21!!! I do like like the fact look older though because its a good thing for a lad at my age You should not feel so down-hearted that people think you are younger, I always thought it was what all females wanted
MikeW
I still get asked for ID on the odd occasion when I'm out & about & I'm 23 so don't worry, you're not alone! I can't quite believe that some people (usually doormen) think I look under 18? Maybe I'm doing something right looks-wise! The weird thing is, I can go to loads of places away from home & never get questioned about my age. However if I am asked for ID, it's usually by the doormen in the local places where I live that I visit quite often!
Briggsy
With the exception of thinning hair, i've always looked younger than I am. I'm also young at heart - I get on better with people that are younger than me, and I still think the way I did ten years ago - I don't want kids, and I can't be arsed with a mortgage just yet either. Make the most of it - don't let it bother you

ERGH!! You don't get old gradually, annually, it's sudden!!! One minute you are young, firm, energetic, the next you're NOT!!!
Moonman
With the exception of thinning hair, This is one problem that thankfully, i do not have, nor do i see me having this problem for a while. My hair is getting very very long and it is very thick too.

Judge Mental
I've always looked pretty young, but haven't been ID'd in ages now, finally at 25 lol, with one really annoying exception! My local Spar, that I've been using for about the last 8 years, ID me randomly about 20% of the time The really annoying thing is, because they got done selling to under agers a while back, they only accept full driving licenses or passports. As I've only got a provisional, I always have to take my passport to get a carry out just in case on the off chance there's only new people working that time Apparently a provisional, student card dated 2001, 2 Visa cards, a Gala Casino card and a European health card just doesn't cut it these days! Number2Fan
Gala Bingo cards you say, well could be your mums eh! It's hard though, i have to decide whether boys are 12, 15 or 18 to sell them Video games I just look at them and the same person could be f***ing any age at all IMO!!! So as it's law they need ID or a paretnt funnily enough to buy it for them!
Max Kane
This whole 'Task 25' thing is a bit silly, some of the instances you hear of where people who are like 50 & aren't getting served are obscene. I've had my hair cut really short & do look several years younger now, that's what I'm pinning my ID incident last night to

simonross46
I was ID'd for a 15 rated film the other week, but I was wearing my school bag and carrying my folders so the girl (bless her) just wanted to be safe. I bought a bottle of whiskey on firday and had my driving liscense ready but she didnt even ask!!! I was quite annoyed because now I have my full licsense I want to be able to put it in peoples faces Blockbuster are big on ID's though, my friends get me to buy their 18 rated films cos they are still
emy
IDd for a 15 film! I thought you only IDd for an 18 film So did you enjoy the film or did it have some pretty disturbing scenes in it? Sorry
Quadrant
The best look for looking old is full-on moustache. I am going to grow one on only one side and leave the other shaved, to see if one side really will be colder than the other. Idea?

I thought you only IDd for an 18 filmSo did you enjoy the film or did it have some pretty disturbing scenes in it? I was rather shocked at the time, I didnt expect to be ID'd either! It wasn't a disturbing film either, it was Layer Cake, but I don't remember very much about it. It's all about drugs and such though so that might be part of it. Who knows. Idea? It will. I normally have a full on (ish) beard but have shaved it off for job interviews. My face gets freezing.

simonross46
'Layer Cake' is a class film & Sienna looks fantastic in it I really enjoyed it, it's one of those films where it doesn't get so wrapped up in action scenes, but it is clever instead. I like my british gangster films, but personally it isn't on the same level as Snatch and Lock Stock I just watched Die Hard 4, and my god its just a film of explosions TBF Simon you do look quite young and innocent to me. From the photo you have seen, it really does portray that image of me. People either see me as a really innocent person and then others (most) find me quite intimidating and scary. I often hear people say they are scared of me ... but at heart I like to think I am a nice chap
Number2Fan
I love Die Hard 4, I love Bruce Willis and I love the line " did you have to bring ya dad? " I was young once and I enjoyed most of it, so I'm ok I guess, we all get older one day I am glad I was clubbing and 24 in 1999. If I was young now I would have missed all that! Quadrant
TBF Simon you do look quite young and innocent to me. A lot of females tend to say this to the younger lads and it makes me crack up - I've heard it time and again in pubs and clubs - and yet I can't help thinking how wrong they usually are! It's the quiet ones you have to watch ladies, don't forget Especially when their kitchen is a medieval slaughter house! Mwa-ha-ha!!
