Same with the Baby P thing - people were writing in getting terribly stressed, and the media loved it and hyped it up until it became headline stuff. I truly believe Castration would help, not from an evil revenge point of view, but because it takes away the sex drive, the root of the problem!!! Certainly would make a good deterrent too. I think so too, these kids wouldn't be abused then. Their lives will never be the same again, they have been robbed of their childhood, it doesn't bare thinking about. Number2Fan Posted September 2, 2009 Author Report Share Posted September 2, 2009 It's not just a bit of fiddling and a rape here and there either is it, it's full on attack, some of these children will never even be able to go to the toilet properly again. Afterall, these are grown men attacking them. Also the filming and photographing which now can be broadcast live or downloaded by other perverts, that's there forever, cannot be removed. I know it's not just about the sex for the paedophile either sometimes, it's the power for them and the innocence of the child, but surely if they have no sex drive they will have no urge to do these things. As Jason said some would actually volunteer, as they cannot help themselves and their thoughts and know they are a danger to children and also it must drive them insane having these urges that they SHOULD do nothing about!!! I've read aswell about the ones arrested for dowloading child porn etc, they feel at least they are not ACTUALLY abusing children but are still getting the kicks they need. Well they are hurting children aren't they....full stop. Animals are castrated all the time under anaesthetic, it does them no harm, only good.
