Will they ever us a digita clock or new method of counting down? I dont Richard could ever be replaced, although des holds his own and deffinatly think he does the job. What they should do is have a crazy 'finale' at the end: 3 word games, 2 number puzzles and 16 countdown conundrums to do in 90 seconds, that's what I say.
