Briggsy Posted September 25, 2009 Report Posted September 25, 2009 Well, the results are announced in about 3 weeks time, so where do you think Jules will come this year and why? I reckon he'll come in at number 48. I'm afraid the bootlegs, indie remixes and stale sets (supporting tunes for too long such as Laid Bare for 2 years) - plus the random set flow will probably result in him having his lowest ranking since the poll began. His Radio 1 profile will keep him inside the top 50 though.
bigsteve Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 Between 55 and 65. First year I've not bothered to vote.
Judge Mental Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 It would be very interesting as a poll if it was accurate. The fact that Jules is considered one of the top 100 djs in the WORLD is hilarious. I'd put money on most of the djs on here being better than Jules.
Briggsy Posted September 26, 2009 Author Report Posted September 26, 2009 I'd put money on most of the djs on here being better than Jules. Very true to be honest! I could name a good few straight away that are better all round than Jules.
Number2Fan Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 Well then they should be where he is shouldn't they, he's obviously got something they aint!!
Quadrant Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 Let's see Jules's rankings since the poll started. In my opinion, Jules should have been #1 in 1998 and 1999, and certainly in the top-10 in 2001 because he played some wonderful tunes throughout. 1997: #4 1998: #3 1999: #4 2000: #6 2001: #11 2002: #7 2003: #9 2004: #14 2005: #15 2006: #16 2007: #21 2008: #32 2009: ? My bet is on him being voted #43 this year!
