The darey mix of Grooveline is one of my favorite ever, not only trance tunes, but pieces of electonic. The brooding buildup, slightly darker overall sound; fantastic! In the main stay, everyone goes on about people like Ferry/Armin/Tiesto when they think of trance classics of this era, but Darey was the equal, if not better, to those guys.

If you've not got it, make sure you track down the promo 12" as the edit on the main release is faded out half way.

This is true! Used to happen occasionally back then on the "final" release, not sure what they were thinking of.

Good track here from Mr Darey.... where is he now?

He's still around - but rarely DJ's outside of London. His Trance days are pretty much behind him though.

Shame - he was VERY under-rated as a DJ. His mixing is silky smooth and he builds a good set. His old Trance productions were top drawer aswell.
