Number2Fan
My friend let me do a bit last night on his USB controller and laptop, (OUT LIVE) I love it, I used to do it a long time ago, (in the PRE MP3 days) and I want to do some myself again, but first I need to buy something to practice with at home, before they'll let me do my own set. So it's this Over this.. I think for use with my software on my laptop. Now I really like the Vestax USB controller, but for some reason people have been talking alot about Serato Itch, and it's making me want it, but I don't know why. Can anyone specifically tell me why I would need that over the controller. Obviously there is a massive price difference between the two, so what's the reason for that? and it's gonna take some doing to get one, but I want this badly! If it all goes tits up, as so often stuff does, it will still be used at home, so that's not an issue.
Moonman
ITCH! is frigging awesome. Its very expensive, but it is so good. It doesnt have FX though, like Traktor, but no doubt, that will feature in updates. Just look at yer fella Kutski abusing ITCH.... Kutski on Serato Itch You might need the Serato sound card tho... Number2Fan
That is a pretty good sales pitch that video. However I am in no doubt Kutski is far more talented than I am, and richer... It does look pretty cool, but I'm liking the USB controller alot, and it's half the price, and still more than I should be spending. I shall contemplate further..
