Listening to these samples sir. Sounds ok but constructive criticism, I would not rush out to buy this!

Maybe I'm alone here, but I would only ever release something in my name if it was a Quadrant masterpiece - a true work of art, an electronic dance music masterpiece to be commented on for years to come, and a seriously passionate expression of what I feel is absolute top-shelf quality music.

With that in mind, I would never release anything, but there you go.

I know what you mean though Quadders. It's rare to find a real stand out track these days which wont be forgotten 3 weeks after downloading it. I find that now I buy 3 times as many tracks as I did when I played vinyls because it's so easy to download stuff and so instant plus it's so much cheaper. However, many of those tunes only get played once and then I forget about them. When I mixed vinyl each track was much more special as it had to be a standout tune for me to part with what little cash I had back then. Also the tune would have to stand out to the record labels who would sign them and thus the artists would really have to work hard on their tunes before trying to sell them.

Anyway back to this tune. Personally I do quite like it but I have not been eagerly awaiting the release for the last year. I was aware of the name of the tune as there was some hype about it on this board a long time ago I believe but you see even the DJ's who supported it then wont have played it week after week for the past year until it got a release... not like Jules used to years ago. Therefore I'm not sure if I ever heard it when it was first hyped up, but if I did it was obviously another good tune that got forgotten a couple of weeks later and something else had come along by then which was actually available to buy.

There is no patience or eager anticipation of tunes releases these days.... well rarely for me anyway which is a bit sad. Sorry to be depressing. Never mind I will probably buy this anyway and feature it in a future monthly mix!
