As I haven't really listened to any current music I'll be a cheecky bugger and surgest something from ...history-ha ha!(joke) When talking to budding musicians I usually recommend Pil' s 'Ease' off their 'Album'/Compact Disc' (sic). For me an amazing array of sounds, each instrument has it's own voice, the spaces between the notes as valuble as the tune it'self. I believe -though I may be wrong, that Lydon had enlisted top musicians for this album eg Ginger Baker for drums. (yeah - I'm a fogie).
