Oasis 'Definitely Maybe' as a cassette from my Uncle What was the first record you bought with your own money? Camisra 'Let Me Show You' having heard it on TOTP Which style or genre of music was your first great love? Indie How have your musical tastes changed since you were a teenager? Not that long ago I was a teenager but generally I'd say I've gotten into more underground dance music, more techno and less trance What was the last record you bought, on any format? I'm answering this in terms of 'record' meaning an album so I will say Arcade Fire 'The Suburbs' How many tracks/records do you typically acquire every week-both promos & purchases? With promos & purchases I'd say around 20 What format do you DJ with? CDJs Name your three favorite tracks at the moment: Pryda 'Illusions' Michael Woods 'No Access' Christian Smith 'The Price of Freedom' Three favorite classic tracks: Energy 52 'Cafe Del Mar' (Three N One Mix) - really the track that got me into electronic music Super8 'Alba' - still my favourite trance track ever Pryda 'Aftermath' - 15mins of perfection Which track (by another musician) do you wish that you had made? Seeing as I'm not a musician then any! But if I choose one it would be Radiohead 'Idioteque' What’s your favorite record from this year that isn’t electronic dance music? Arcade Fire 'The Suburbs' Current reading or last good book read? Haven't read anything profound for a while so I'll go with 'A Clockwork Orange' by Anthony Burgess as it's my favourite book Favorite iPhone app: I don't have one Favorite video game: Championship Manager Favorite piece of gear: Having only used them once it's hard to be so gushing but the CDJ 2000s are pretty stunning Preferred headphones: Sony MDR-V700 Favorite clothing designer: Diesel Favorite city/country/club to perform in/visit? London is my favourite city to DJ in, Venice my favourite to visit What country would you be thrilled to play in, just for the food?
