Wakey Posted November 22, 2005 Report Posted November 22, 2005 that's what the forecast was all about yesterday, however it seems to have warmed up today!
Aza Posted November 22, 2005 Report Posted November 22, 2005 its bloody cold enough, however doubt it will happen
bigsteve Posted November 22, 2005 Report Posted November 22, 2005 Living where I do now, its looking pretty likely! Snow for my birthday weekend!!! 8-)
Aza Posted November 22, 2005 Report Posted November 22, 2005 Is it your birthday mate? Its mine tomoz, but the party hammering etc is on this Saturday for me
bigsteve Posted November 22, 2005 Report Posted November 22, 2005 Do we all have November birthdays on here :? Mine's on Sunday, but hoping to celebrate at The Arches with A&B. However, my old man booked a suprise flight up to see me, while we were on holiday. He saw it cheap and thought it would be 'nice.' Somehow I've got to get rid of him early on Saturday evening and avoid having to meet him early on Sunday!!! Have a great day tomoz, mate 8-)
Aza Posted November 22, 2005 Report Posted November 22, 2005 LOl - mad with the parents. I hate talking to my folks when I tired or hungover, it puts me in more of a stinking mood! LOL @ trying to get rid of him...
bigsteve Posted November 22, 2005 Report Posted November 22, 2005 It sounds horrible, but if he'd checked with us 1st, we could have politely said we'd arranged something. I suppose we were on hols at the time tho. Just a case of not on the same wavelength I think
Neuro Posted November 22, 2005 Report Posted November 22, 2005 Definitely will snow up here, it's ******* freezing. Give me Spain any day. Steve - Craig was wondering if you can def come to Arches if not, cos we're sorting guestlists etc. No worries if it's a last min decision, but really hope you can make it cos it will be a great night!
bigsteve Posted November 22, 2005 Report Posted November 22, 2005 Any chance of putting me plus 3 on, just in case we come?
Simcut Posted November 22, 2005 Report Posted November 22, 2005 well, as some of you might know, I work for Tesco in their head office and we have really good weather forecasts.....there will be snow this weekend, in the north and the south west & east (Kent that is!)
Chrissie Brown Posted November 23, 2005 Report Posted November 23, 2005 What job do you do at Tesco's? I've just got back from Cheltenham and it was very cold up there. On my way up on on Sun morning there was thick fog from Exeter to Cheltenham and it was the same coming back to Penzance this afternoon. Whilst l was driving up it was minus 4.5 degrees and my windscreen wiper froze up. Not use to being cold like that as we rarely get snow down here in the far west of Cornwall. Brrrrrrrrr..

Chrissie Brown Posted November 25, 2005 Report Posted November 25, 2005 Well would you believe it we have snow here in Penzance. During last night we had gales and heavy showers of hailstones which continued all morning. This afternoon the wind dropped and since 3pm it has been snowing quite heavily. The kids will love it.
Quadrant Posted November 28, 2005 Report Posted November 28, 2005 Started snowing here today, thank God I don't have children yet I'd never hear the end of it!
