ASOT 2011 will be released on 28 March 2011 spanning two cds... For me, they have generally been great to listen to and enjoy, but not 100% impressed with what potential they could offer since there is that element of commercialism regarding some tracks. Max Kane Posted March 22, 2011 Report Share Posted March 22, 2011 Seems like he has moved away from the 'On The Beach' and 'In The Club' style discs to just putting two generic discs of recycled ASOT (I could listen every Thursday) music together. I Haven't been interested in one since 2006 to be honest - there is so little difference between this and one of his radio shows - and what makes it more laughable is he dedicates a special radio show as a 'ASOT 2011 Preview' where he plays half the tracks anyway! Just noticed that Armin has been playing alot of: Mark Otten – Libertine Max Graham feat. Neev Kennedy – So Caught Up Arty & Mat Zo – Rebound Aly & Fila feat. Jwaydan – We Control The Sunlight which are not bad tracks in my opinion, Heard Markus Schulz play "Ashley Wallbridge – Moonlight Sonata" last week on GDJB, nice track also. Max Kane Posted March 29, 2011 Report Share Posted March 29, 2011 Mark Otten – Libertine I was rather interested to hear what this sounded like (former massive fan of Mark Otten) but I have to say I'm dissapointed - just sounds like any other trance track around at the moment.
