I've never liked Oakie, tried him out here and there but felt no connection. Though my boyfriend and his mates all yarn on about an Oakie night back in the day that was ' so amaaaaaaazin ' (I've a feeling they might have had a thing or two to help them along) yawn yawn!

I checked him at Global and he was still shit.

and pretty ugly to boot.

As stated before with the pre Mushroom era 98 and before when Perfecto had a deal with Warner, they own that era of releases, some of which can be found on 7 Digital but as 256 mp3 (like all Warner releases, why they opt for this rather than 320 is beyond me).

I think also early 2000's Warner bought out Mushroom too (Warner certainly bought London Records anyhows)...

New mixes of Grace-Not Over Yet on the horizon, Oakie probably now has full rights to the track again, the same with MWNNN-Floor Essence I would imagine.

So really it's not Oakies fault, it's getting Warner to play ball is how I would see it.

I do agree Oakie ain't that good looking and not much of a talker either, you could say in a dutch accent 'I'm not really a talking DJ '

If anything he was one of those that jumped on trance at the right time, he was a house DJ before.
