bigsteve Posted December 10, 2005 Author Report Posted December 10, 2005 How was the night, Bjorn? Caught the 1st couple of shows, but can't believe no-one has seen through it. The actors and classrooms just didn't look the part. Anyone been keepin up with it?
Bjorn Posted December 10, 2005 Report Posted December 10, 2005 i watched it last night, absolute genius!!!! its so so so funny, its so ludicris but they all believe it - they had a lecturer teaching them about communications between shuttle and base and had them practicising by showing them drawings and they had to say what they see.....best one was 'capcom: brinsk: i see the fonz high fiving with rambo......' hahaha!!! oh the work party was sweeeeeet, ended up having an amazing meal, really nice and i was laready hammered by this point - i had gone with the intention of pulling a different bird from topshop, although i had a sidedish along the way... anyway, we went to a nice bar i nderby afterwards (about 40 of us) - there were 50 att he party, and we ended up meeting darren day (random!!) anyway, i can't remeber anything from that bar until 2am in the morning, nextt ing i know is im walkign home with higgzy and a well fit bird from topshop and higgs went to meet his bird in town, leaving me and ana to walk back to my place, i didn't get to bed till 7 am and my memory from then i also very very hazy!!!! good night all round!
bigsteve Posted December 10, 2005 Author Report Posted December 10, 2005 Sounds like a blinder 8-) I'll have to catch on Space Cadets - it really is a laugh watching people that are SO gullible!
Bjorn Posted December 10, 2005 Report Posted December 10, 2005 its brillaint when i nthe middle they cut to the diary roo mand they're going 'oh the lecturer#s are so intellignet' all the while they#re actually feeding the cadets total bulls***!
thirddrive Posted December 10, 2005 Report Posted December 10, 2005 They really have chosen the most dense people imaginable for the show! The actors are geniuses!
Neuro Posted December 10, 2005 Report Posted December 10, 2005 That Russian motto of 'it's not rocket science' which the lecturer told them meant something like "We, the adventurers". That was very funny
dormouse Posted December 10, 2005 Report Posted December 10, 2005 The whole skirting around the zero-gravity issue is what got me. I'd be asking more questions if I was in their shoes. Great TV, mind. A reason to watch TV again!
bigsteve Posted December 10, 2005 Author Report Posted December 10, 2005 The whole skirting around the zero-gravity issue is what got me. I'd be asking more questions if I was in their shoes. Yeah, I'd be well gutted if I wasn't going to experience that!
dormouse Posted December 10, 2005 Report Posted December 10, 2005 Yeah exactly! Idiots, the lot of them.
Wakey Posted December 10, 2005 Report Posted December 10, 2005 I've heard a rumour today that all the people on it could be actors and they're trying to fool the audience. I've not seen it anyhow. Bjorn, bet you've bloody served me before, wil have to work out who u are at some point when I'm bak!
Bjorn Posted December 10, 2005 Report Posted December 10, 2005 mate, theres no working out required, im about 6"2 and got proper blonde hair - u can't miss me! i work upstairs in topman!
Wakey Posted December 11, 2005 Report Posted December 11, 2005 i dunno mate, I ain't been in there for ages due to being here there and everywhere. You must know Bibby then?
Bjorn Posted December 11, 2005 Report Posted December 11, 2005 indeed i do know the bibster!! How do u know him? Its quality working at topman, piece of piss upstairs but its well strict downstairs, so us lot upstairs get to to just chill out and look over the balcony all day checking out talent
Neuro Posted December 11, 2005 Report Posted December 11, 2005 Its quality working at topman, piece of piss upstairs but its well strict downstairs, so us lot upstairs get to to just chill out and look over the balcony all day checking out talent That's excellent. When we were out in Newcastle last night someone used a hierarchical rating system for hot girls that I'd never heard of, (called "Kife"s and that??) anyway, well funny. Must be a Northern thing cos I'd never heard of it before
Bjorn Posted December 11, 2005 Report Posted December 11, 2005 we'll stick to dinner courses and dishes eh tim? 8-)
Neuro Posted December 11, 2005 Report Posted December 11, 2005 Yeah, I like my food parallelisms much better. It's all about the side dish.
Bjorn Posted December 11, 2005 Report Posted December 11, 2005 you know it tim! btw - it turns out the dessert is scared of the sidedish!!!!
