bigsteve Posted December 11, 2005 Report Posted December 11, 2005 I use Real Player for listening to samples at Chemical
Wakey Posted December 11, 2005 Report Posted December 11, 2005 yeah winamp never works for me so I use real player 8-)
thirddrive Posted December 11, 2005 Report Posted December 11, 2005 Yeh, I specifically downloaded the new Realplayer just to listen to the samples on there! Winamp is weird.
bigsteve Posted December 12, 2005 Report Posted December 12, 2005 tbh, I only use Winamp for Internet Radio. Everything else I play through Real or Windows Media Player
Neuro Posted December 12, 2005 Author Report Posted December 12, 2005 I read somewhere RealPlayer used to have some hidden spying software on it (it doesn't now in the new versions), but it takes up loads of space, and I just find it annoying, so I'm reluctant to use it. And Windows Media player likes to crash occasionally too. I like Winamp because it's small and doesn't try to be anything more than an audio player. It's also more stable. Though I guess this type of streaming does confuse it. Thanks all!
Chrissie Brown Posted December 12, 2005 Report Posted December 12, 2005 I use either Media Player or Real Player. I don't have Winamp so l was unable to play Noff's samples as they won't play through the other players.
