Max Kane Posted December 18, 2005 Author Report Posted December 18, 2005 Was a fantastic evening, Armin's set ranks as one of the best of the year, superb. Was a little dissapointed with some of Jules's mixing and tune selection but he still managed to chuck in a few class tunes. Jon O'Bir proved once more that he is quite simply the future sueprstar of trance with a blindin warm up set packed in some class tunes. Tunes of the night were... Jon O'Bir Perry O'Neil - Numb Gabriel & Dresden - Arcadia Synergy - Hello Strings Mode Hookers - Breathe (Sander van Doorn Remix) Luminary - Amsterdam Judge Jules Marc van Linden & Matys - Am 2 Pm Electrique Boutique - Revelation (Ferry Remix) Armin van Buuren Marcel Woods - Advanced Bart Claessen - Playmo Oceanlab - Clear Blue Water Armin - Controlfreak (SvD Remix) Armin - Who's Watching (Tonedepth Remix) Art of Trance - Madagascar (Ferry Remix) U2 - New Years Day (Ferry Remix) U2 - Where the Streets Have No Name (Nu Nrg Remix) Armin - Communication Gabriel & Dresden - Tracking Treasure Down Add Mr Sam - Lyteo (Rank1 Remix) & Marco V - False Light to those tunes aswell
bigsteve Posted December 19, 2005 Report Posted December 19, 2005 Those tunes from Armin's set are class. Would have loved to have been there
Neuro Posted December 19, 2005 Report Posted December 19, 2005 If this hadn't clashed with my travellings then I'd have been there in a flash. Really rate Jon O'Bir, have spoken to him a couple of times, top bloke. What a superb line-up! grrrrrrr! Never mind. Keep us posted on forthcoming events on the board; I am prone to travelling a lot if the event looks good enough! And Tom, how the hell did you remember all those tracks? I like to think I have quite a good memory for track names but always after a night out I struggle to name more than a handful! :?
Max Kane Posted December 20, 2005 Author Report Posted December 20, 2005 I only managed to remember em all cos i was in work by about 8 on sunday mornin and a few of the lads there had been aswell, thats our combined effort. Probs left out a few belters too, as i didn't get back from Wolves v Leeds til quite late i was relatively sober aswell, so that helped.
bigsteve Posted December 20, 2005 Report Posted December 20, 2005 I'm appaling at remembering tunes from the night before At the time I'm overwhelmed by what I hear, but by the next morning...its all gone
