Noff Posted December 19, 2005 Report Posted December 19, 2005 hey guys, seeing as Juno are doing digital downloads, i thought it would be a good idea for those of us who are unsigned to start up our own label... Any one interested in Submitting any of their tracks? Any suggestions for a name for the label?
Wakey Posted December 19, 2005 Report Posted December 19, 2005 Good idea mate! When I get into producing (hopefully soon) I'd be up for getting involved 8-)
dormouse Posted December 19, 2005 Report Posted December 19, 2005 Definitely up for getting involved...
thirddrive Posted December 19, 2005 Report Posted December 19, 2005 that does sound like a good idea, Juno would provide a perfect springboard for people!
Neuro Posted December 19, 2005 Report Posted December 19, 2005 What a great idea. Would be worth doing if a enough people got into production or remixing. As for a name, it would have to be collective, I'll have a think! Aza's also pretty good at thinking up inventive names for his mix CDs...
Noff Posted December 19, 2005 Author Report Posted December 19, 2005 Great! If any one has any tracks they want to put on the label email them to me at tracks@djnoff.com, and once we've decided on a name ill upload the tracks onto juno! Any suggestions for a name everyone?
Neuro Posted December 20, 2005 Report Posted December 20, 2005 How about 'Archival Records' ?? That's a good name, gets my vote

Neuro Posted December 20, 2005 Report Posted December 20, 2005 Noff I'll be keen to get on the remixing tip for your tunes early next year 8-)
JasonB Posted December 20, 2005 Report Posted December 20, 2005 If I had half decent software I'd be up for avin a bash at remixing! as it is floops doesnt quite cut it, well not what I can do with it (bassicaly nowt decent!).
Wakey Posted December 21, 2005 Report Posted December 21, 2005 my mate who used to use the main JJ board aswell has been learning the software etc for the past few months, and has just got some new studio equipment, so we may well be up for abit of the action if we can get some decent sounds together. 8-)
Noff Posted December 21, 2005 Author Report Posted December 21, 2005 If I had half decent software I'd be up for avin a bash at remixing! as it is floops doesnt quite cut it, well not what I can do with it (bassicaly nowt decent!). u can still produce some quality stuff on floops mate, i used to use it loads and sometimes still do. Try to get yourself some good drum samples etc from somewhere, and download yourself loads of cool vst plugins. Ive got loads u can play with mate, send me an email and send u a few over. Same goes to anyone else if they need any.
JasonB Posted December 23, 2005 Report Posted December 23, 2005 Yeah I thought as much thats what itd be not having plugins n stuff or not knowing how to get certain sounds out of it, I have got some good stuff out of it by going thru pre-done samples and the tutorials n that, its ideas I don't get well I get something going then can never finish it, have done som half goodish remixes though.
