whos_this_guy Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 im really likeing that shapeshifters new one! yeah there was a few that didnt do it for me. but was looking forward t it all year so enjoyed it! Quote
Chrissie Brown Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 I started a new topic calling it the same as Steve's (10 mins later and totally unaware Steve had already beaten me to it) so have deleted mine and transferred here. Wow, Jules's "Sat Night Mix" was superb, some great new tunes played in the last 30 mins. Loved that "Avalon" tune very moving and the others were full of energy. However there were a few tunes on the show that didn't do it for me and l was really surprised Jules played them on his show. Quote
bigsteve Posted January 8, 2006 Author Posted January 8, 2006 I saw yours as well and thought it was a bit confusing I liked Avalon too, and also thought there were a few duff tunes - maybe I'll get used to them Quote
JasonB Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 F&W Mix of a cover of a Texas song, hmm interesting!! Quote
Bjorn Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 F&W Mix of a cover of a Texas song, hmm interesting!! soon as a turned on the radio i knew it was F&W, quality remix!!111 Quote
thirddrive Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 It was blatant F&W - obviously another cheesy Data release on the way though in it's original form! Quote
JasonB Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 Yep Aurora treading the covers route again albeit of a crap track anyway, don't Like Texas! it's funny how they duid quality versions of Ordinary worla dn teh commercially unrelease Sleeping satellite (amazing Super8 Remix!) and now what looks like trying to make a quick buck. F&W being quality of not I say NAFF! and whens bloodey Summerdaze coming out?!! Random! La Luna - 'To The Beat Of The Drum' [breaks Mix] (White Label) Johan Gielen - 'Show Me What You Got' (Tunes For You 2) York - 'Mercury Rising' (White Label) look interesting may have to listen again! Quadrant Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 Back in the day, I liked Data. Not so much in the last 3 years or so. And by the way,I'm sure it's Babylon, not Avalon! Does anyone remember Aurora - I hear you calling? Is it the same artist as here? Quote
dormouse Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 Is the same artist I believe. And the track is called 'Babylon 06', I have the Cd-R from Hemstock & Jennings with a personal message to Jules on it! Quote
