Chrissie Brown Posted January 14, 2006 Report Posted January 14, 2006 I'm going to listen to that new Jules tune again as l don't remember it either. Also that Mercury Rising tune has been played before. When l first heard it l thought it was Jules's wife Amanda singing it. I think the tune (in parts) is very similar to a tune from Les Miserables.
Uberduck Posted January 15, 2006 Report Posted January 15, 2006 The Searchers - My Life has no be my current No1. Awsome vocals.
Alex Posted January 15, 2006 Report Posted January 15, 2006 Really loved the, Stu Allan - 'A Feeling' record! (played straight after the funky tried and tested record) However, I don't think it's the original as i believe thats a happy hardcore tune which i don't think much to i'm afraid! (www.bangingtunes.com/vinyl/view/nukafeeling/ ) Obviously it is some kind of funky remix other than the one's listed on that page. I don't suppose anyone knows who it's remixed by? Also it's good to hear Jules play Harry Diamond's, (Sunset Strippers front man), record again entitled "runaway". A few months since he's played that. I'm still trying to find out what the situation is with that aswell!
Neuro Posted January 15, 2006 Report Posted January 15, 2006 Also can anyone identify what 2 remixes of Ferry Corsten's track "Whatever" that Jules was playing :?:
thirddrive Posted January 15, 2006 Report Posted January 15, 2006 good to hear Jules play Harry Diamond's, (Sunset Strippers front man), record again entitled "runaway". Absolutely awesome to hear that again, love it so much. That and The Searchers are tracks I would kill for atm...
Chrissie Brown Posted January 15, 2006 Report Posted January 15, 2006 That new tune of Jules's "Alma Fe" is quite catchy and has a nice happy summer feel to it. I'm also loving the Hemstock & Jennings tune "Babylon" but The Searchers "My Life" is definately one of my favourites of 2005 and haven't got fed up with it. 8-)
Chrissie Brown Posted January 15, 2006 Report Posted January 15, 2006 Album is out in April this year. Who's Album. :?
Chrissie Brown Posted January 15, 2006 Report Posted January 15, 2006 During Jules interview with Stuart Fraser he mentioned his album would be ready in April this year.
Uberduck Posted January 15, 2006 Report Posted January 15, 2006 Sorry wasn't very clear with that. I meant: Searchers - 'My Life' release date.

dormouse Posted January 16, 2006 Report Posted January 16, 2006 Have been discussing Jules' new tune 'Alma Fe' with him. It's very good, I like it. Kinda in the same vein as Signalrunners.

bigsteve Posted January 17, 2006 Author Report Posted January 17, 2006 That new tune of Jules's "Alma Fe" is quite catchy and has a nice happy summer feel to it. It's very good, I like it. Kinda in the same vein as "Signalrunners" Yeah agree. I was trying to think what tune it reminded me of. Really liking Runaway and Alma Fe. I also think it has that Signalrunners sound to it, and probs Jules best tune out of all the ones we've heard over the last 18 months or so
