Aza Posted January 16, 2006 Report Posted January 16, 2006 Using the delay effect on this mixer is amazing. How does Eddie Halliwell pull off his tricks when using this? What settings must the mixer be on - is it half a beat? I have tried pulling this off using the parameter aswell, but dont know whats the best position to have the parameter. I have tried delaying in between beats, but still cannot cut out the beat as he does? Does anyone know how to pull this off? Think it sounds amazing when done properly
whos_this_guy Posted January 16, 2006 Report Posted January 16, 2006 set it to half a beat. have he channel set to master. you have to cut the song playing using the 1 volume faders. ha to get used to. but can be done easy engh! watsthe one with the parameters?
Aza Posted January 17, 2006 Author Report Posted January 17, 2006 What you mean using the 1 volume faders? The parameter is the botton knob, underneath where you can adjust the tempo of the effect.
whos_this_guy Posted January 17, 2006 Report Posted January 17, 2006 yeah using the volume faders! you dont have to muve it up and down that fast (depending on the beat really)
Uberduck Posted February 3, 2006 Report Posted February 3, 2006 Is this the same effect as the echo feature when used on 1/2 beat? That kinda sounds like your looping it. Sounds mint when a track is at the intro/outro stage and the beat is pretty much the only instrumental part present. Played at the last bar of a phase is when it sounds best. The volume/depth has to be set accordingly otherwise its a bit overwhelming.
