Neuro Posted February 5, 2006 Posted February 5, 2006 I gave Jules that Leon Bolier track! What an ace tune as well, absolutely love it - take a listen to its build up and its ending too in the mix, superb. Quote
Chrissie Brown Posted February 5, 2006 Posted February 5, 2006 I gave Jules that 'Supermongo' tune! It's sounded really great. How did you get it as I heard it on Pete tong's show on Fri 3rd Feb. :? Most of the tune is based on "Why" Bronski Beat (singer Jimmy Somerville). It was a hit in Sept 1984 and got to No 6 and stayed in the charts for 10 weeks. Quote
dormouse Posted February 5, 2006 Posted February 5, 2006 I got it from a mate who's a record company boss. The original Bronski Beat track was called 'Small Town Boy', Chrissie. Great tune. Quote
Chrissie Brown Posted February 5, 2006 Posted February 5, 2006 Thanks for that info Dormouse. Seems l got a bit confused as "Small Town Boy" was a hit for Bronski Beat in June 1984 and "Why?" was Sept 1984. I just assumed that as the title of the Supermongo tune is called "Tell me Why" that "Why"was the tune it was based on. Quote
dormouse Posted February 5, 2006 Posted February 5, 2006 Ha ha, just thought i'd be a trainspotter for once! Quote
JasonB Posted February 5, 2006 Posted February 5, 2006 Yup! love the original this new version/rehash I loving too. Craig Bradley has surfaced on Jule's board I see. Is his remix really needed? Quote
dormouse Posted February 5, 2006 Posted February 5, 2006 Its nothing special, adds nothing new to the previous mixes. Quote
bigsteve Posted February 6, 2006 Author Posted February 6, 2006 Bit odd why Jules has picked up on it then??? :? Quote

But then again, most Bronski Beat was very similar Quote
