Welcome to the site! Perhaps it was: M.I.K.E. - Sunrise At Palamos [XTC / Bonzai] Would have been a bit earlier, from 2000/2001. It's been re-released digitally now but they all lack the mid-range warmth you find from the original vinyl copies (just my opinion!), so I'd recommend seeking out an old vinyl on discogs.com - if this is the one!

Excellent mixes - Christian I knew Magit Cocoon - Love Express would make it on there! Also love the Guy J track that kicks off the "Trancier" set, reminds me of those good moments when just one sequence keeps you hooked on the dancefloor, in an endless loop

If you download and use Google Chrome web browser on your phone to access this site instead of Safari, it handles mp3s differently, so when you hit "Download" it should prompt you to physically save it somewhere on your phone rather than stream it. I don't have an iPhone but I imagine after downloading any mp3 your phone's music player should pick up the new mp3 and it'll appear in your library to playback whenever you like

Thank you both! Simcut physically has the vinyls that need ripping and I feel bad for pestering him, but if he simply doesn't have time then I might well need your expertise. I'm aiming for the release of the mix in December, before Christmas,which gives us time to collate the tracks and Jules time to put the mix together.

The closing date has of course now passed. Thanks to everybody for donating and of course for selecting their tracks! We can't select them all, but I'll do my best to get in as many as possible. I need to collate mp3s and rip vinyls (thanks to Simcut for helping here), and hopefully when Ibiza season calms down Jules can find time to do this. I would hope we can release as a Christmas special. Watch this space.

Sorry about this Kevansky! This sounds like a corrupt segment in the metadata within the mp3 itself - which can occasionally happen when we splice different mp3s together. So even if the audio is physically there, the mp3 player doesn't understand how to read it, or how long the file is. I'll get our audio guru @FuzzY-LogiC to have a look at this and probably we'll re-encode it and re-upload it. Please check back here soon.

Myself and Christian aka @thirddrive had a small mix last month, which I thought I'd put it up for others' enjoyment. Welcome to the board and of course really pleased yet another member can reminisce the good old days from our huge audio archive

This is why we love people sending in their tapes for us to digitize and upload to the archives here for everyone to enjoy. Only a few years ago the BBC dug out Carl Cox's essential mix from Ibiza in 1998 for a re-broadcast on Radio 1. So somebody requested that, it was found and prepared and then broadcast in pristine quality, so audio from BBC Radio from that time does exist...

Thanks Lyndon We'll contact the uploader and ask them for the originals to upload in his name on the archives here, so he gets the credit. In the meantime I will try and "lift" the audio tonight in case they disappear or we can't get in contact...

The good people at the BBC have started archiving radio times listings under their Genome project. Been gold dust for finding out the actual broadcast times for early shows, such as this surprising 4.5-hour Christmas Eve mastermix from Jules back in 1997!!: http://genome.ch.bbc.co.uk/03bcc6c16b6d4ec5af68f64865c869a0 Now if only one could request the recordings....
