I think it would be very handy to play Soundcloud links using this method, especially for member mixes, tracks, etc. For example, it sounds like it would be easier for members to check out the audio preview, all in one click of a button on the same topic page? I enjoyed this show as well - the stand out tune for me was Just Hal - Creation (Tristan D Remix). Loved the original from a few years back & Tristan's new update is excellent too

A howler that stands out for me was one night when I played at a local DJ comp around 2001ish. At the time I was using belt drive turntables at home but the venue had direct drive Technics 1210s. I didn't appreciate the difference in belt drive & direct drive decks until this gig in particular & as a result, most of my mixes were absolute trainwrecks! Let's just say embarrassed wasn't the word... After that night, I saved hard for some direct drive decks before I even thought about trying for another gig! It was a learning curve which did me some good when I look back on things :whistling:

I got it off DJ Download here - Hydro Aquatic & Vir2l Vision - Vigor (Cold Blue Remix) Totally agree there, it's an absolute epic of a tune! I'm really into Cold Blue's stuff at the moment - in particular his track Downhill, which is one of my tunes of the year so far

Thanks Chrissie, great to hear your positive feedback on the mix :thumbsup: I think Soundcloud in general was a bit dodgy last week as it seemed to take forever to upload the mix. Got there in the end though & it sounds like they're up to speed again now

I bought this one on vinyl around 2002-03 when it came out & I've recently converted it to CD as well as a few of my other past faves. (I'm currently going through a mid life crisis tune-wise lol!) Excellent tune from back in the day!

Thinking about it now, I have some of the old Gatecrasher albums on 3 x 12" vinyl (Wet, Discotech, Global Sound System, etc) which may be worth something? There's some excellent trance classics included on these, all in their full length glory... Will have to try & find out how much they would be worth now just out of interest - not that I'd ever part with them!

I managed to find a white label of this one in HMV Manchester around 2002 with That Fuct Camera scrawled on the centre label in green marker pen! Think it cost me about £7.99 as well? Was really chuffed as it was the only copy there & I'd been hunting for it for about a year at the time. I've since burned it to CD so I can play it now when the mood takes me...

I've checked it out & although it's not really something I'd play (due to the fact I don't like La Roux! :whistling: ), the mashup itself is very well put together & the 2 tunes really compliment each other I reckon... Keep em coming mate :thumbsup:

I have a tribal design on my left shoulder & a big tribal band on the upper part of my right arm. They are special to me personally as they have meaning & remind me of certain times in my life. (I got the shoulder one as an 18th present from my dad & the band was my own design drawn from scratch & unique to me) Many people have said that I'll regret it when I'm old & wrinkly but I agree with whoever mentioned it earlier in this thread - I'll have probably passed caring by then!
