  1. I reckon Tiesto's productions have definately gone downhill the past year or so. His tunes/remixes were much better in the days of his Just Be album a couple of years ago imo.
  2. I thought it was a good show overall Really into these tunes at the mo; Radiohead vs Heatbeat - Everything Is Louding Arno Cost - Cyan Marco V - Unprepared (Dub Mix)
  3. Thanks a lot mate, will be keeping an eye out for some of these I reckon
  4. I'll give this a listen Mr H, I'm quite intrigued to hear it. Loving the electro/fidget sound at the mo EDIT: Excellent mix there mate, I really enjoyed it. All the tunes were wicked! Do you have a tracklist for it at all?
  5. I reckon so mate, he probably means 'remix of Joop' rather than 'remix by Joop'
  6. Quite surprised Jules played this last night, as I sent it to him back in January. Must have dug it out from somewhere! It does include Joop's track The Future but as far as I know Joop hasn't remixed the mashup? Great show overall, here's a few tunes that stood out to me; Radiohead Vs Heatbeat – Everything Is Louding (CDR) Kid Kaos Vs SMG – Schranz Mezcla (CDR) Slusnik Luna – Sun [Genix 2009 Remix] (CDR) Fred Baker – Ibiza (CDR) Will Rees – Noizia [Tek Rework] (CDR) Tritonal & Soto – Piercing Quiet [Original Mix] (Flashover)

Nice one matey! Least you got it right this time!
  9. Cheers Matt, I'm pleased you rated it so highly  Everybody take his advice!
  10. Cheers to you both, hope you enjoy! Totally agree with you Burien, I would have thought the Timewave Zero track would be right up Jules' street. Would fit in nicely into his sets I reckon. He does seem to catch on to some tunes after they've been out a while though so who knows?
  11. Finally got this in the post today after I won it on Ebay!! Sounds immense, especially after about 6 years of waiting!

  13. Cheers for the info on that mate! I also managed to track it down on Ebay & I've won the bidding for it tonight Just waiting for it to arrive in the post in the next few days now so expect to hear it on my next monthly mix (post permitting!)

    Simon's wish

Kebabs don't appeal to me at all, not even after a good drink! I can't help but wonder how long the meat has been on that skewer behind the till in the kebab shop, could be years for all we know...
  15. I'll check this out, feedback to follow... Ok, I've listened just now & it's a good effort. Would be ideal for a set opener. I think it would benefit more by using the main breakdown bit over the beats when they come in again in the second half of the track, but that's just my personal opinion. Otherwise, a solid production I reckon
  16. Cheers for the tracklisting Burien, top notch effort as per usual  Pretty solid mix there from Jules. He sure does like to use that echo/delay effect over Happening Clock, sounds cool
  17. One tune I've been after for AGES is Groove Park - Carrousel (Fire & Ice Remix) on Bonzai Records which came out about 2002-2003. Searched absolutely everywhere for this gem but no joy so far... (By the way, if anyone can help me with info on where to get this, it would be much appreciated ) Also, more recently, Fred Baker vs Barry Connell - Lunar Frizzbomb (Lukeh Bootleg) is on my wants list. I don't know where to contact Lukeh to ask him about it!
  18. I think they are absolutely hideous personally :rubbish: However, they seem to be an essential item of clothing for Russell Brand, Mighty Boosh, & indie band members
  19. I may have the answer!! I'm pretty sure it's by BK, however it will be either one of his tracks Damage or Tuff Luv? I seem to remember both of them sounding very similar to each other. Hope this puts you out of your misery!
  20. I think Briggsy summed it all up perfectly in the very first post I can totally relate with Tremor's post further up the page as well. When I read your post about growing up listening to Jules' show, it was as if I was reading about myself, it was that accurate! (ie, the parts about marking down tunes to look for, basing your tune selection on what Jules plays, etc) What I respect the most about Jules is how he always finds time to chat to you, have a photo, respond to e-mails, and so on. For example, from when I first started out tinkering with music production, he would always respond to the mashups I sent to him & take the time to give constructive feedback about them. Even if he wasn't 100% keen, he would briefly give suggestions on how he thought they could be improved, etc. I hope it will be the same when I eventually get down to producing original work! Overall, I think it's great how he communicates with his fans. I doubt there would be many other high profile DJs out there who would go to these sorts of lengths.
  21. The Original of Team SR will always be my favourite version but I think M&T's remix is a good alternative for more harder sets

  23. I really enjoyed Laserbrain & the Kings of Leon remix is pretty sweet as well I wonder if the Backroom 2 moving to just before the T&T will be a permanent thing from now on? Seems to fit in better at that time of the show I reckon.
  24. He gave this out to his Facebook group members not so long back. Might be worth checking his group out if you use Facebook mate?
  25. I see the good old swear filter strikes again!
