Loads of good old un's here....and found some that have been sampled and make me think...ahhh I know this!! In particular Transformer 2. On Jules's Journeys by DJ, that coupled with Ronnie Canada's The Power's in my Music' truly sublime. (in my book anyway) . Twisted Angel I've also heard elsewhere, possibly Sasha...so it's nice to hear these in a different context. Then Boccaccio Life - 'The Secret Wish' is evocative of a certain time with a certain.... new car ....

Thanks for the comments, the half-hour mix is one of my faves actually, that Graham Gold tune is bloody awesome!

Oh yeah, cheers for the ID's for the mixes MBK, the ID's are actually very useful in terms of tracklists etc, so feel free to post more up if you know them so we can edit the tracklists accordingly :)

I remember getting in to the car driving home from somewhere and listening live to this show - I started listening when he dropped the Beastie Boys bootleg and loved it!

Was the time when I was really just getting in to house music and some of those tunes are seminal to me as a result

Never understood why Jules like the Lucid remix of Emmie - More than This (or EMS as he called it!) - the original mix sped up is awesome.

I thought the original was a nice poppy take on the Roxy/Brian ferry classic, but Translucid Vocal was the club remix proper

really enjoying this show, it was a couple of years before i seriously got into dance music. but i still know so many of these tracks, at the time i knew stuff like armand van helden, stardust etc.

i do find the starting track strange though, vengaboys?

That was the first track the vengaboys did. jules seemed to play tracks like that before they became chart hits and the cheesy follow ups came. it was the same with alice deejay and ian van dahl. their first tracks were relatively dancey, but the follow-ups seemed to go in the euro pop style.
