  1. Personal opinion bud, you like the whole set, he doesn't. Simples! Starparty was released on Incentive in 99/2000, Incentive didn't exist in 97, the label for the German release was Go For It
  2. Searchy said in his initial post that it is not Bootleg Horns buddy!
  3. The new Caned & Unable is on Global Warmup 664 at 44 minutes in: Also the guest mix is only 15 minutes long? pointless!. This is the first time in years I have bothered listening to a weekly Jules show and his choice of tracks seem to be middle of the road hum drum stuff. Nothing excites me. Maybe I am just getting old I don't know
  4. If it is to be anything similar to his latest track Scream then it won't be too bad hopefully, but still nothing to really shout about either.
  5. I fully expect these new versions to be total tripe.

  8. I think I'd look rather good in this:
  9. Better than mixing time to burn in from Cowpander in any case!. That for now will always be the major criticism of Jules, pointless unneeded out of place jingles and accapellas. Looks like Oakie ended by playing a couple of his more recent rubbish rejigs. Just play the originals!

It takes one post, should work now buddy!
  14. Jacey B, could you elaborate on this more? Have you a scan of the page maybe... I'm intrigued You were the one who mentioned it on page 5 of this thread, the pages are hosted on this site, the link you gave is: http://www.judgejulesarchive.co.uk/archives/board/index.php?/gallery/image/3-3-do-us-a-tape/ And yes I have lost hours doing the same milkybarkid!
  15. I was going through reading old issues of Muzik magazine on a website that has scans of every single issue and happened upon the formerly mentioned on page 5, Jules Do Us A Tape feature. And these years later I reckon like many it was a Jules production that was shelved and now lost in time no doubt.
  16. Had a quick flick through that video last night before I headed out for the evening. A nice bit of nostalgia thought these years down the line all the same. I had to learn how to do it all all by myself with no guidance. My second and third set of turntables were direct drives (I still own the third pair, although only one of which works and is being used with a good stylus solely for recording purposes). I went through 4 or 5 different headphones including sonys and sennheisers before sticking with the ones I have now and have has for at least 8 years or maybe more now. How times have changed where anyone can auto beatmatch using either the sync function on pioneer cdjs or software on laptops. Still doesnt make a good Dj though does it!, if you cannot create a journey then what is the point. The Youf have no idea with their heavy hit after heavy hit westwood EDM bangers eh!

    Hiya all

Who is this 'all' person?, anyways welcome back to the insanitay!
  18. I certainly will not be jumping on the bandwagon for these, I have been using the £10 alpine ones for a few years, I never need pay any more money than that. Flare audio seem to be very childish when it comes to certain types of comments posted on their Facebook. I asked what makes their earplugs any better than the £10 ones (i never mentioned the name Alpine), they didn't like this comment so they removed it and blocked me from being able to like the page or comment ever again. Hardly endears.
  19. It was to do with Muzik Magazines monthly bedroom bedlam comp.
