I see it as a nice oppourtunity since Sony are chucking out the Trevor Nelson, tong and Fatboy collections, Jules puts his name to a tracne classics comp on the rival Universal. Same old same old though and I have anything that is worht having on it already.

Depressing really. :rubbish: it really is, supposed DJs getting paid silly money to turn up with a preplanned set and just play that. The youngsters that will pay to go to these evnts could not care less though.

JJA friends, brilliant work! Thank you for putting missing TLs together and posting them! JasonB: However, TL from Jan 16th 1998 is not the one as you have exposed. It is tracklist from Dec 19th 1997. I know that for sure since I have a piece of this December show on a tape cassette, hopefully soon in mp3 ready to be exposed on JJA. So if this TL is labeled as the one from Jan 16th it must have been a mistake from the Mixmag editors. The first regular issue I bought of Mixmag was feb 98, the tracklistings covered in that issue was for nov 22st 22nd 29th dec 5th 6th 12th 13th 19th 20th 24th 26th 27th and jan 3rdshows. March issue covered jan 2nd 9th 10th 16th 17th 23rd 24th april issue covered jan 30th 31st feb 6th 7th 13th 14th 20th 21st may issue covered feb 27th 28th march 6th 7th 13th 14th 20th 21st (of which I have partial listings as per picture in last post), so obtaining that issue would sort that period out. june issue covered march 2th top april 25th shows july issue covered may 1st to may 23rd And that was it for Mixmag Jules listings.

Mixmag used to print essential Mix tracklists as tape inlays and then frequently Jules or Tong tracklistings on the next page, the top half is missing as I used to cut out the inlays for the Essential Mixes I had recorded. It looks like two of which inlays I had binned somewhere, which in this case is Air part 1 and part 2 (they misunderstood so did a 4 hour mix which got split over two weeks). So this is what I have (the cut out bit is the inlay for Tong live at The Tunnel Glasgow 21st March essential Mix):

You need to buy Jan 98 issue or even december 97 issue for earlier tracklistings as those are the only ones I don't have (so from when Jules firts r1 show started in october up to November 16th show of which listings could be in one issue or spread across two.) Buying any other issues in 98 is pointless as I have these pages and have contriubted them to this site already.
