Actually I used to like the psychologists analysis on BBLB. I don't know if they do that anymore as I only see Fridays. I have also picked up on group dynamics emphasised in the house out here in the 'real world' which have made me a bit more savvy to a situation preventing me charging in with my size 5's...(yeah- I'm not the sharpest tool in the box).

This year I've not been enthralled by any of the housemates. They've all been overt with speculations, awareness of the camera etc., which shows it's run it's course. Rather disappointing for the last one, but I'm still watching it.

I think my fave hm has to be Slick, jungle cat from 05.

Very brief post. I have to get ready to go to work soon. Is nobody interested in Psychology? The attempt to understand what makes human beings what we are. Unique! Maybe in this whole infinate Universe. Is nobody interested in group dynamics. Or how a hierarchy in a group forms. How relationships develop and change. How some people become dominant, and others accept that. Is nobody interested in the reasons why people go into the Big Brother house. They all say they are there just for the experience. They are constantly being filmed. Who can maintain the persona they want to project. Are they all sad people wanting to win 100 K or have their 15 minutes of fame - and maybe become minor celebrities for a little while. Have to get ready to go to work. Just one thing. Chewbain. What are you doing with that sheep in the corner. Though it's none of my business.

yep. Listened a few times now, that first track still bugs me but the rest ...nice...

Wasn't too impressed with the first track and am not sure if the annoying quiet bit was a cunning way of sneaking the next track in. But built up well enough to exercise to(rare event). Did actually mean to D/L a different sesh but clicked this by mistake. Have to listen to it a bit more.

Cool...I now have the members list working, but I still don't get the gallery thing. Looked at a couple of other folks profiles and they have no pics too. Is this something still under construction, and/or has it been debated earlier on in the forums (and I haven't gone back far enough to read it)? :confused:

Have Jules name checking a track he'd just played as "Xcabs mix of Stellar by...."what sounds like Jiaya or Gia..as he tails off in a funny voice. Have trawled the studio sessions of 2000 and am starting to read things backwards! Date wise it's placed on a tape preceeding 12th aug, but with the way I bodged these tapes together that might not mean much. Any ideas?

I agree with you sir - I find Olav Basoski is almost better at being a remixer during this period.

Wow excellant!! This contains the Todd Terry track I've been trying to identify for yonks, which indeed lead me to this site. I've tried discogs, manifesto ,you tube but as I'm essentially a novice at this stuff the best I'd come up with was the track listing as you guys have it. Awsome upbeat track and have vivid recollections of some...er..kids..going mental at the 'pre-progress' club -as it was known, a converted church. Great stuff...

I'm the main archiving bloke for transferring things from tape to mp3 for the site. I have over 200 tapes here and I've recorded & digitised almost half of them for here already. A number of people have sent tapes to myself & to Tim (aka Traill aka Neuro aka Site Owner) and we have digitised tapes for them, so it would be great if you could let me know what tapes you have and from what date ranges maybe I can archive them for the site?

Unfortunatley no gold mine.....not sure the quality of my tapes would be relavent as they really are tunes just 'dumped' together. Also the earlier tapes have PT interpersed with JJ. I have a meagre 40-ish with the earlier ones being PT . So far have now identified two mixes as 19/3/05 and 28/1/06...I susspect are readily available. However am willing to share ...

Yes - I have my treasured compilations which I'm currently transfering to cd. Disappointingly don't have as many 'mixes' as thought and with much dismay the tape labelled 18/2/00 is an inaudible hiss....I seem to recall my stack playing up at one point, just before it became ..er.. 'dismantled'!

The couple of mixes I have left are from around 05 so will be more easily attainable in the public domain. The one I'm recording at the moment was jan 28 06.

I still have some unlabelled tapes to sort.

I am new to this whole forum thing and am actually quite shy, even in anonymity on the net, about being vocal in a community. I'm not at the moment au fait with downloads/uploads, so I'm in agreement with number2fan,fuzzylogics stance. Like Jonny5isalive I came accross this site by chance trying to find a (to me)rare track.

In the 90's I used to tape PT/JJ and dump down tracks for the car -often buying them on release. But - heinous crime!! I didn't always leave the credits on so some tracks remain anonymous. Besides my homemade compilations I've a couple of mixes from the early 00's -not deduced from when yet.

Anyhow, site looks brill and am amazed it appears to have been around since 05!
