  1. Brings back memories! The DJ mixer at Sankeys was sh1t since they'd hurried to re open the venue after it was taken over by David Vincent.
  2. No point in hiding the brilliant!
  3. Can you borrow a laptop from someone and record straight onto HD from the DJ mixer?!?!
  4. New mix by moi in the members audio area... go and download!!!
  5. Fairly recent short mix of mine. Unfortunately I was a little bit wasted to the point of losing the power of speech when it was recorded and failed to make note of the tracklisting. It's house music of the deepest, most soulful and purest quality... it's the stuff of dreams, passion and love. Download here
  6. doesn't really grab me other than Pendulum live and Seb Leger.
  7. The Roland Edirol mp3 recorders are pretty good and simple to use.
  8. There's too much self promotion within this mix. It would have been much better if he hadn't just played his own material all the time. It suggests he doesn't want to support other really good tracks and producers out there, plus, it's the weakest trance E Mix I've heard in a long time. Pity because he's a good talent.
  9. Most editing software is the same, give or take a few functions but the most widely used one in the industry is Peak BIAS but Wavelab is proving to be popular too. I can't remember what Dormouse uses for his edits but I doft my cap to his editing skills.
  10. Danny Tenaglia David Morales MAW Simon Patterson (strangely) Dave Pearce
  11. Creating a good edit it a skill and there are really only a handful of professional DJ's who are, in fact, any good. when it comes to the edit. I've always been in the school of thought that if you don't actually need to edit tunes to fit your set, then just leave the tunes alone. I would be mightily vexed if I was in a club and heard a substandard edit of one of my productions.
  12. was that a hint to get some work Moony?!?!
  13. Keep it bold and simple. Less text too. Perhaps have a simple logo of a blue emergency light then the text 'EMERGENCY' underneath. Underneath that, simply add 'Scorching Tech/Trance'.
  14. quite liked the earlier cirez releases but nothing of late prompts me to write home about it!
  15. ^ She looks a bit of a hag as it is!
  16. It's a little on the gross side but... http://www.metro.co.uk/news/article.html?i...p;in_page_id=34
  17. Yeah - Lisa was a manager at London Records/FFRR around the time that Love Shy was released... she's a lovely girl, just very very Loud!!!
  18. It's a devision of musical timing... a standard bar in dance music is made up of 4 beats, if you split 1 beat into 2, you get two eighth notes or quavers, a whole bar of these notes gives you an eight beat rhythm! Really like this interview - he's straight up which makes a nice difference!
  19. once again - anything by Herve!!!
  20. Why are the Dutch largely head's above other nations when it comes to innovation in dance music and dance music events such as Sensation, Armin Only and of course Full On Ferry?
  21. and if you've got a crook back, the last thing you wanna do is sit down infront of a computer screen and be chipper!
