  1. Youtube made me late for work this morning. http://youtu.be/fS1uDnIPTvo
  2. Not sure of the sample but I do know the song is a piece of tripe! bigsteve sir, go back in time and put a tape on, not listen to these commerical radio stations
  3. 0:37 - THE WHITE MAN HAS THE POWER!
  4. All the signs point to Jules. But for reasons unknown he denies knowing anything about it, perhaps it was one of those DJ tools or projects that he has either lost or forgotten about now. And because it had a sample in it couldn't be released anyway, so it's been buried. I don't think we'll ever find out.
  5. Just been hunting down some of these tracks from these minimixes - liking the S.H.O.K.K. remix of Altitude at the moment too! I love how looking for one track spawns purchases for remixes of others
  6. The more I download, the more I listen to, the more I discover, the more I buy, and the more I need!! Now that Jules has left R1 I fear those tapes will be binned or he will be forgotten about, especially from the golden days. My mouse is a-ready to nab any more Jules downloads you guys have hiding in your archives... Or indeed any member mixes. I am like a monk in the 12th century being told he is no longer being allowed to craft his own ales. Please feed me with new audio sirs How much is left?
  7. Does anybody know if this is still available to re-watch anywhere? Would appreciate any links.
  8. Happy to nab this mastermix sir, thank you. You definitely have a different angle to the other things I download and it's good to have on whilst working or in the van. Medieval coins for you!
  9. I love this track! Thanks for reminding me about it. I can't find a download either... Platipus are usually pretty good at their digitizing but it isn't there
  10. Ron Hagen is a legend. Mind you so are Askew and Mr Scott Bond... might consider this.
  11. Internet Explorer is terrible! 3rd party browsers are always leaner and faster
  12. How do you mean, sir? Welcome! Now you have posted on the board, you should be able to download using the links in the top post
  13. Absolutely outstanding, reminds me of the Jules back then with these gems.. Thank you sir.
  14. I don't remember this! Nice to hear some random oldies in the show though. Jules's track "Ordinary Day" is in my opinion an excellent piece of music. Enjoyed this.
  15. I don't use chrome sir, firefox all the way
  16. I really need to see this. Any youtube vids?
  17. Hi sir Ianskip76 - go to the top post and it's in the link at the bottom, below the tracklisting
  18. What does it mention about the Trance boom around 1999? Did we all imagine it or am I alone in that it sticks with me as the most memorable (ish!) time?
  19. Sorry to hear that Chrissie - all I can is, when things go wrong, no matter how dark life seems, remember music will always keep you going, and keep you sane. Hope all goes ok. As for Jules, I don't mind too much that he isn't at his peak. He has served his purpose for me - showing me the gateway to discovering so much more in the electronic genre. And for that I will always be grateful.
  20. It is a shame but as said above, not unexpected. I hope Jules reads your post Mr Gregg! We support the Jules of old... thanks god for the Archives on here, at least some of his former magic from the millennium is preserved.
  21. Just stumbled across this remix - I love the original which I already have plus a PvD mix but this PvD one is different. There's a wonderful breakdown at about 4:30 which everyone should check out And the year is 1998!
  22. Let's hope there are! Once they're digitized you're much more likely to listen to them too That era is gold dust by the way, I think I speak for everyone on here in that we'd love to hear those tapes.
  23. You have already posted on here now so you shouldn't get that error message anymore preventing you downloading Welcome sir!
