  1. Here is a guy DJing some good early Trance back in 1994, from a small, unknown European club. But he has no arms and is doing it all with his feet. 05:05 - mix starts, upfader goes up for the incoming track being mixed in 06:39 - mix finishes 06:41 - removes record and swaps it with feet 06:52 - bang! there it is (with a flourish from the foot) 07:27 - bang! another flourish 07:30 - yep I'll just take another record with my toes thanks and cue it up. And all of the tracks are awesome - I wish I knew what they were, especially the track at 9mins... Please don't ask me how I found this. But hats off to the guy - awesome.
  2. Of course, as music lovers, the first thing we will notice about this cover is the fact she is playing along to an old 45rpm record. If this record exists and I find it, I will buy it.... And then I've a perfect excuse to actually use that 45 centre hole spindle adaptor on my Technics...
  3. I remember this. Gosh going back a long way. Matt Darey remix of this is also good
  4. Not all album covers are created equal. Some are so incredible that they can’t now be explained by the people who originally conceived of them. Here we look at 30 of the worst, most strange and downright ridiculous album covers ever made. http://blog.tastebuds.fm/worst-album-covers-of-all-time/
  5. Discogs is your friend sir. It will have everything cross referenced.
  6. Rather than paste that on all messageboards sir how about a sample tracklisting or something else to whet our appetites? Will take a listen nonetheless
  7. Burn it to CD or buy a memory stick. Easier!
  8. Closet needs digitizing! Anyone got a few thousand to reactivate it
  9. The Ry Cooder info came from Jules - either that's an astonishing bit of knowledge or he made it himself, I say!
  10. Armin's ASOT podcasts and shows are all worth checking out as at the end if there's a classic track, often it's been re-released digitally just for that
  11. Gosh this rings a bell. Early 2000 I think, under their Celine Diablo moniker. Might be worth asking Jules, sir...
  12. I watched this classic clubbing film again for the first time in years and years yesterday. What a cracker. Fast-forward to 1:08 here and it reminds me of my younger days! Afterparties, struggling with sentences... Ah the days
  13. I can't understand why they wouldn't like a classics night. It is the revered and celebrated era for a bloody good reason - the tunes. Where did the Matt Hardwick rumour come from?
  14. Surely Chrissie you can upload it to mediafire.com or some other cloud for us to download?
  15. Welcome sir! I'm sure you've scoured the depths of the Internet but some wonderful things appear on this board so you never know.
  16. Didn't know this mix existed as like Jason says it is left off the multipack for some reason. Looks like an Alphabet City special edition! Thanks sir.
  17. Does Jules know this is a Classics event? Everyone there will be expecting old stuff... it would be a lasting legacy. Enjoy sirs
  18. It would be nice for a final e-mix from Jules but I can't see it happening. I thought they hated each other? Back in the day I mean... 98/99 there were words spoken!
  19. That Transa tune in that set was listed as Unknown - Unknown for ages and ages until someone ID'd it on tranceaddict.com many years ago. Ah the days!
  20. Welcome to the board sire! One of the last great messageboards around in my opinion, where we all remember the good old days
  21. Nice one sir! Off-topic but where's your awesome avatar gone (Jules webchart)?? Loved that.
  22. When we were all recording Jules's Friday night 9-11pm shows back in the day, at the end of the half-hour mix when Westwood's BOMBS went off I reckon if you listened really closely you could *hear* 2,5 million people across the world jump up and stop their tape
  23. A good choice! Not heard of Jordan before but done a bit of research and I reckon he's an ace choice.
