Maybe it goes without saying, but here is my take on things.
1) Electronic music is frowned upon because it isn't "live" or "natural", and isn't played on instruments by human beings, so it is excluded from the traditional media. I dislike this and feel that electronic music has influenced, guided, and even changed my (and others') lives. I feel sad this is not recognised.
2) Some people do not understand. We do.
3) Trance taps into the emotive side of the brain more than anything else. There's a reason why the "best DJ in the world" in the past 10 years has always been a Trance DJ. Melody, goose pimples, memory, and emotion are key components to the best era, 1998-2001, and I am sad this is being forgotten.
4) I love my dance music and will do til the day I die.
