That usually happens aswell a break does good and come back mixing spot on but it jus other day it wasnt happening and im off to ibiza tomoro and was goin to bring cds with me and try get a gig in one of the local bars but now im haven 2nd taughts about it

just a question to every one on this,is it me or does it happen to a few people that when u havent mixed it a while its a pain in the arse to get back in to it. havent mixed in a few weeks then other day i taught id do a cd seems i got lots of new stuff - and it just wasnt happening for me id always get one dreadfull mix

Way too many tracks on it,it really annoys me when mix cds have so many tracks on it playing only min of a track then the next one is getting mixed in then all this eddies ed-it mix Thats the one reason aswell i never like armins ASOT cds 30 sec of a track then on to the next track up to 40 runes on one cd Load of crap

he's been playing slower for the last 2 years but i think neon sounds like something funkagenda would produce very very similer but i like it ,

mmm i do agree with u briggsy and tom if i do vote him number 1 again its true he will believe he is as good as he was,im starting to change my mind now,i havent put my vote in yet still loads of time ben gold is both a top dj and producer same as genix and funkagenada. thanks lads

Fair enough in that Jules introduced you to dance music BUT I don't think that's really a reason to vote for him in this poll. it was trance he got me into i used to be into hard house before that,i no he has been poor over the last while but still every now and again does do a good show or monthly set,thats just me ill always vote him no.1 and have done the past few years,genix aswell his porductions are always top class + im bringing him over to my 1st gig in november,ben gold i met him and interviewes him terrible nice chap also his sets are always great,funkagenda is another man who does great sets and mashups for his sets aswell and john gibbons has always supported my mashups aswell

I no every one has been complaining about jules sets past year or 2 even tough i do it myself but he is the main reason how i got into trance so ill always continue to vote for him as my number 1 dj. So here is as follows 1.judge jules 2.genix 3.ben gold 4.funkagenda 5.john gibbons

Has anybody used the new beatport site yet and what do you think I think its a load of crap its slower at playing tracks and even searching for tracks is a pain in the arse

Im sure he be getting 100's each week its who ever is listening to them for him and passing them on to jules. he playing shit stuff past couple months

Has any body been to ibiza so far this year, im off in 6 weeks and can not wait to get over again, Has any one got any tips on trying to get gigs or has any one even got a gig in any local bars, i mite have one lined up in viva i have to email him a couple weeks before i go to remind him.

Things have taken a big turn now,i was goin ahead with lee haslam,and when i told him i couldnt afford him he sent me big email giving out saying why did i ask for the contract and now i dont want him, I didnt sign any contract YET for genix i had received it alright but changed my mind, he told me to honor it and i have to cancell the other dj. I explained to genix manager my mate who was helping with costs pulled out and i could not afford to pay all costs myself. So here is what genix manager started out at £600 £550 we then agreed £525 + 50% payment up front When i told him couldnt afford it he went £500 Now i got him £450 + £70 booking and rest of payment the week before he plays Big difference from what we started out on But im happy to be getting genix now top quaility productions from him

£400 is cheap where is £750 is quiet a lot of money for 1st gig and when u change £750 into euro its a lot aswell as flights and hotel to dublin

Im sure we can hopefully get a write up of dj mark kavangh in the paper coz he has his own dance section with all the latest gigs going on and also try to get radio advurtisin aswell Plenty of posters an flyers done aswell,facebook page Hopefully if we ask john gibbons on has spin 1038 show club educate he will give us a mention

I taught i heard some of her productions but i never did glad i didnt book her alright i think lee's gona be a good choice hes knocking out some great sounds past 2 years and he seems like a nice chap goin by his video podcast i seen of him.

Ali wilsons agency nu-tech wanted £600 for nifra come on she not that well known jus because she dates marcus schissow shes a warm up dj hiw can u justify that price for some one who done warm up on a few eastern european gigs

Looks like im gona be booking lee haslam now he is the cheapest out of all the djs i was looking at. I was in a bidding war with genix agency he started of at £600 after lots of emails back and fort we settled at £525 but in the end i realise its my first gig i cant afford him lee is £400 + min 3* star hotel.genex wants 4* hotel
