  1. I just finished watching Being Human, loved it, on ITV it woulda been shag!

I also like Andrew Marr and BBC documentaries, channel 4 docs are always biased and on other channels like 5 they have ridiculous titles, like a jeremy kyle headline. Thats another thing. Kilroy was much better than Kyle. :D

Anyway, I pay mine, coz i got caught without one once. Since then I've D/D'd it all the way. Cheaper than my ever rising SKY bill atm. Started at 17.50 pm for phone, tv, broaband, 2 yrs ago, when I gave up smoking, last month I apid 46 quid!!! Gotta sort that out.

Dance anthems is a show I dont need, I could do it myself better.

Sky offer an optional subscription. You won't get letters threatening legal action and taken to court if you don't have a licence.

  2. I can't believe people complain about the license fee though. £142.50 a year is a bargain - it works out to 39p a day!

Where else can you get entertainment these days for 39p? Sure, it might churn out some rubbish at times - but we get bloody good value for money really. Its produced some quality comedies over the years - Only Fools And Horses, Fawlty Towers, etc.

ITV is poor in comparison - plus commercials are irritating.

Most of these are 20 plus years old. Look at the rubbish it produces now. It tries to be all things to all people and it isn't. It has tried to run numerous different channels and radio stations appealing to every man and his dog and failed.

It's an institution that needs radical reform.

  3. But if you have sky or virgin then you need a TV to recieve it don't you, and then you'd need a license, so you wouldn't need to subscribe. Anyway, bollocks to it, as far as I can tell no one is listening to it. Not even us lot. :whistling:

    Poor Dave tho...

The license fee is a joke and it should go. The BBC should have to fund itself via advertising or subscription.

  4. I have always hated that DJ Elite track. Cameras ready? Flash! No, f*** off!!

This is the only dance messageboard full of really sound people so I know people won't take offence at that and start any arguments on here. Just my opinion sirs! :)

Jules used to cane it back in.... oooh blimey a decade ago now?

I agree. I would not waste space storing it

  5. i think 6 music should stay, as it was all about breaking new music, but id close quite a few of the tinpot local stations.

Theres nothing up with the free terestrial ones either.......im all for more free stations, it beats just having 5 channels like we used to.

None of the BBC channels are free.

  6. No coz then you 'll get 50 post in one day from a new member saying, just posting so I can download, same again, hello, hello, hello blah blah, blah , etc etc  then never hear a thing from them again, as some people literally are only after the one 'memorable to them ' JJ set or show to begin with, when they first get here.

    BETCHA!

Then the mods ban the member for trolling.

One post one download will have the same result.

Password protect the audio section and then provide regular members with access?

  7. Yes I do, in fact I've said so before, only because I feel they could then at least just feedback on whatever they've downloaded and maybe even say cheers, afterall people have taken alot of time and effort to initially record a show, keep it for years, get it uploaded, sort the tracklist out etc etc.

It is easier to just set it up so members must have 50 posts before they can start downloading off the site.

  8. Me too! I can't understand how Jules can say on his diary that he's so busy searching through hundreds of new promos each week - yet when I see him out in clubs, he's playing tunes that he's played for ages and only a tiny amount of new tunes get played.

Email Jules and ask him why.

  9. My wife has a clit piercing which I would recommend above and beyond a tattoo. But then again, that's a personal preference which I admit I did not think was a good idea at first.

Despite the discs symbol not being of a medieval theme, it is pretty cool and I think you should do it! :)

This post is useless without pics!

  10. I've done that part already here at home. I had it drawn on and then I really really wanted it. I must admit, it looked better on my arm than on that bit of scrap paper.

Do you think it looks shit? <_<

There's no way I am having anything peirced!! Espesh not my intimate regions!!

I've seen better but what do i know!

  11. I'll have to ask my boyfriend if he'll upload a photo of it, I can't do it from here.

I was gonna have a smiley face, I might still have one of them another time, I couldn't find the right picture for the tattoo artist to follow, a smiley face could end up looking very very wrong.

If only Jules had a logo.....

    anyway, I designed one instead.

Dont get me wrong i do think a butterfly on your cleavage may ook awful at 65 years old.

Many years ago I wore a fake tattoo on my chest area, and from 17 - 21 it looked cool, and people liked it, I am gad I don't have that now.

That's why it was fake att.

I've contemplated this one for an age now, over a year, but couldn't find exactly what I wanted.

Now I've got a Christmas bonus, and my partner has just been made redundant, I'm going for it while I can.

Probably end up regretting it in a few years time but you know that anyway :boohoo:
