  1. Neuro: Is the counter working? It's been at 16% for a while now...
  2. Indeed a great compilation! The very first time I saw Jules was at his second visit to Denmark in the summer of 2002 when he was promoting this very compilation. I recon I have the flyer somewhere with his signature, unless it was lost in the flood a few years back. Great memories of him playing Shi Du Khan, Close Cover and Universal Music. Good times
  3. Oakey famously was handed this while playing a gig, and immediately played -twice- in his set after listening to it there and then (which was a major rarity due to the masses of cds handed to the dj at the time). He then snapped it up for Perfecto instantly. I will absolutely contribute to this. Major props to Jules for this too. Will come up with one of the less obvious classics that just scream 'Jules' to me later. Tempted to pick one of the old techno, dave the drummer stuff he used to drop, just for the hell of it. Must say, can't see many other big djs agreeing to playing a tracklist like this picked by others, for fear of getting tunes they wouldn't want, or don't fit with their curret 'sound'. Massive kudos and thanks to Jules. mbk.. a brilliant track Dave The Drummer a.k.a. Henry Cullen, a.k.a. Strobe, would be 'Human Animal': http://www.discogs.com/Strobe-Human-Animal/release/7192
  4. You're right on the nail in regards to The Legacy being T&T twice... it wasn't two weeks in a row though, but hey ;-) Source: http://www.judgejulesarchive.co.uk/archives/board/index.php?/page/Main/tried_tested.html 18/08/01 - Push - 'The Legacy' [inferno] 16/06/01 - Push - 'The Legacy' [inferno]
  5. Push - Strange World (2000 Remake) Hi-Gate - Saxuality Those are some I'd really like to hear Jules play... 'Strange World' is hands down one of my most favorite trance anthems from back then and Saxuality is highly underrated in my humble opinion...
  6. Thank you Sir.... Spin's complete show is now uploaded and TL is amended! Bonus: The new audio sounds like it's from a much better and clean source than the old audio

Only reference I've found is from a 1998 Billboard magazine, that mentions DJ Dero's first international album 'Euro Evolution': "The CD will include his international dance hits "the horn"" and "Batucada III", plus a new track "El Corazón". https://books.google.dk/books?id=CwoEAAAAMBAJ&lpg=PA75&ots=Zi4TIkX16U&dq=el%20corazon%20dj%20dero&pg=PA75#v=onepage&q=el%20corazon%20dj%20dero&f=true Track 11 is probably one of the 3 remixes from this release: http://www.discogs.com/Dave-Pike-Set-Mathar-The-Original-Indian-Vibes/release/4204531 October 25th 01. Might be the Euphoric Mix.
  8. Firmly Undaground actually seems to be an alias for Ferry Corsten http://www.discogs.com/Firmly-Undaground-Hide-And-Seek/master/658548 TL updated!
  9. Wow, that's a brilliant idea mate! And really cool that Jules is willing to do this. Much respect. I'll take on my thinking hat and return with a good track...
  10. I received the Mixmag Issue 79 from December 1997. It has the missing October TL's! I'll post them when I have transcribed them :oddcake:
  11. Thanks!! Btw, I just found your post from 2009 here: http://www.judgejulesarchive.co.uk/archives/board/index.php?/topic/5330-jules-r1-shows-1998-tracklist-updatescorrections/ They are all there... We my have completely missed that post. My apologies!
  12. Cool!! You probably have contributed them, but it seems they were never added to the TL archive. All the entries in the archive that has a little star next to the date means there is no TL for that entry. Could you transcribe the tracklist for the 16th January show from the March issue? Also the Feb 98 issue, find the TL for November 28th and Dec. 5th? That would be immensely appreciated!
  13. December 97 is the other issue i've ordered, couldn't find the one from Jan. 98... Do you still have the pages from the May 98 issue and can you check if it covers the shows in the 4 four weekends between 1998-02-27 - 1998-03-21?? It might just be my logic that's upside down, but I think it should cover these...
  14. Hello everyone As I mentioned in another thread, I've been playing with the thought of hunting down some Mixmag magazines in the search for the missing TL's, so that the Tracklisting Archive can be as complete as possible. We know Mixmag printed TL's of Jules' fri/sat shows in a period... maybe they stopped when they also stopped printing Essential Selection TL's (issue 93 according to http://sbradyman.angelfire.com/ess-selection.htm)... no one seems to know exactly... or do you JasonB? You mentioned May 23rd in the other... which would be Issue 86 as the last with Jules TLs? Or have I misunderstood you? So, I gave it a chance and ordered two Mixmag issues on Ebay. The first landed in my mailbox this morning. I ordered the June 98 issue, hoping it would contain the TLs from March, but unfortunately it only contain TLs that we already have in the archive (1998-03-27 - 1998-04-25)... oh well :boohoo: At least that gives me an idea about which issues contains TL's from which shows! (compiling a spreadsheet now! ) Does anyone (JasonB??) have the May 1998 Issue (#84) of Mixmag? That should cover at least 8 shows that there's no TL's for in the archive. //fuzzy
  15. *re-bump* @ Tim.... got those tracks? ;-) Can't recall if you still have your MD player or not...?
  16. Oh yes.... more old gold from the bold in the fold! Can anyone help ID no. 5? It's been haunting me... I'm sure it's a very known track from Bonzai or something similar
  17. Oh how I wish someone had scanned all Mixmag issues and made an online archive....

  19. @JasonB: Cheers for that info! So you're saying Mixmag stopped printing TL's from Jules' show in May 98? I remember Jules saying in a show that the TL's were printed in both the Mixmag and the Ministry magazine... do we know if Ministry printed them after Mixmag stopped? @Neuro: I'll let you know if I find anything useful! ;-)
  20. I had forgotten about that site!! I noticed his comment "comment: tracklisting for essential selection printed in Mixmag (Issue 81) "... I've recently been wondering if it's possible to find some Mixmag issues from 1998 and 1999 with TL's of Jules' friday/saturday show. Does anyone know if Mixmag had these TL's from Jules' show in 98/99? I've found some 1997/98 issues on ebay, but wanna know if they have the TL's before I order them
  21. Another comment dug up from an old post on this very board: http://www.judgejulesarchive.co.uk/archives/board/index.php?/topic/24-gladiator-download-coming-soon/#entry1116 "hi there. just to let u know i spoke to jules via the gift of pen paper and over the decks at the time of him playing his mix of gladiator at slinky the day before homelands that year". So it seems there are at least four known gigs where Jules played the tune... 2001-04-29, Qontact 2001-05-25, Slinky 2001-05-26, Homelands 2001-??-??, Gatecrasher (confirmed by Jivemaster) I seem to remember someone saying they had the Slinky set recorded (maybe even from the booth)....I'm not sure though as it's been years.
  22. I just went through my dusty Gmail drawer and found a reply from Jules regarding my first inquiry about his Gladiator track back in February 2005. His reply: Unfortunately I've mislaid it. I've had quite a few emails asking about the track, but changed studio and engineer about 18 months ago, and haven't been able to locate it since. Sorry! Anyone know which studio he was at before the move and who the engineer was?
