I was in Finchampstead, Berkshire last Weds and during the early hours of thurs morning it snowed quite heavily and about 4-5 inches of snow had settled. I was staying with friends who live in woodland and it looked very similar to the photos Si's put up on here. Fortunately l didn't have to drive until late morning so by then the main roads weren't too bad as they had been well gritted the night before. However it was a nightmare getting out onto the main road due to having to drive along a narrow dirt track. I then drove down to Dorset to stay with my Dad for a few days.
