The Lineup is out!!!

That's right, ES is back after its huge birthday in Februry with a line-up which includes 4 London debuts from top international artists and some of the UK's best up and coming electronic DJs.

The most exciting thing about this April bonanza is the new venue which will be hosting ES for the first time, one of London's best kept secrets: CORSICA STUDIOS - we are honoured to be using this fantastic venue!!

The Studios are underground, sexy, intimate, fresh and are kitted out with a fantastic Funktion 1 sound system, plus there is an outdoor chill out terrace to complete the package. The club however still maintains the perfect balance with its dirty warehouse feel.

THE DJs

DJ Tab & Super 8

We are delighted to get these guys down to play at ES for the first time. Super8 & Tab combine dark and driving progressive elements with more traditional melodic trance sounds, the pair have created a unique sound that has seen them rocket to the top of the trance scene.

Super8's debut single 'Alba'/'Dawn' is Anjunabeats biggest selling release to date and, together with the follow-up 'Cre8', has featured heavily in the sets of the worlds top trance jocks over the past few years. They have gone on to produce quality tune after tune and are now established amongst the finest in the business.

Leon Bolier

We are really excited about getting Leon down to play for us. Not just because of the fact of his qualities as a DJ, but the fact we are playing host to his London Debut. He has produced tracks on labels like Armada, Bonzai to name but a few and his releases have been caned by the worlds big DJs, like: Tiesto, Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk, Ferry Corsten, Sasha, John Digweed, Paul Oakenfold, Marco V and many many more.

Good friends with Menno De Jong, Leon has featured at many of the massive Intuition parties over in Holland as well as starting to make a name for himself on foreign shores. His first appearance in London is one that is eagerly awaited and we can't wait to get him on the ES turntables.

Re:Locate

After rocketing into the trance scene late 2003, Paul Moelands has become one of the leaders of the nu-breed of producers in trance at the moment! Both Re:Locate 'Waterfall' and Octagen & Arizona (his project with Thomas Bronzwaer) 'Starburst' releases were shot into orbit and picked up by every self respecting DJ around!

Paul started the eye-opening Intuition Recordings record label with Menno De Jong and after non-stop highly acclaimed releases, it has been put on the map as one of the most innovative trance record labels.

Paul will be releasing a Re:Locate album in the next few months and will be showcasing some of the material at this special event. We're also delighted to give him his London debut. THIS MAN IS ON FIRE AT THE MOMENT !!!

Jonas Steur

Jonas has become a familiar name in the trance scene in the last 3 years, with several big hits like 'Tales from the South', 'Castamara' and 'Second Turn' (to name but a few) plus remixes for all the major labels in the trance scene, he did his part for the melodic yet modern side of trance and doesn't shy away from playing techno and house in his sets either. 2006 was a breakthrough year with Jonas playing at several very high profile events like ASOT 250, Tomorrowland and lots of both huge and intimate gigs all over the continent. Entering at 130th place in the DJ mag poll at the end of 2006 proved that the buzz was (and still is) certainly growing.

His first appearance for ES is anticipated highly and once again, we're proud to showcase another London Debut!

Finishing this cracking international line up we have Alan Banks and Tom Bailey. Alan Banks had his busiest year in 2006 firmly making his mark on the London scene as one of the best up and coming DJs to hit clubland. He has played at all the biggest clubs and promotions in and around London appearing at Turnmills, Heaven, Brixton

Academy, Hidden, amongst others. Alan's ability to mix up trance, techno and house has attracted some of the biggest promoters to his sound and Alan's diary is continuing to grow more with bookings for not only trance parties but techno and house parties too. It's his versatile ability which has seen him play for The Gallery, Heat UK, Anjunabeats, Vaccine, Party Proactive, FUndamental, Wildchild and Tidy vs Extreme Euphoria to name but a few. We're delighted to join that list and let this guy show ES what he's made of!

Tom Bailey is a name you will not be hearing the last of. This guy has a unique style of lush, pumping, funky and driving progressive music. He will be warming the night up in superb style and really isn't one to miss if your into your Schultz & Warren sounds. Tom will be on the decks from 10.00pm so make sure you get there early!

Our House and Electro lovers are really in for a treat in April. We are delighted to get K-Klass down to headline the Elector Den. The K-Klass phenomena which took off in 1990 when they unleashed their sound onto a nationwide audience with the release of "Rhythm is a Mystery" (No.3 in U.K. Top 40) and the huge "Let Me Show You" (No.13 in U.K. Top 40), as well as a further four UK top 40 tunes and 2 K-Klass albums over the last 15 or so years.

The K-Klass studio bandwagon kept rolling as they moved direction to remixing and producing for other artists. Notable remixes have included the infamous Bobby Brown "2Can Play That Game" and other artists that have had the K-Klass treatment have included Janet Jackson & Luther Vandross, Kylie, New Order, Whitney Houston, The Corrs, Cher, M-People plus another 100 or so that are too many to list. The highlights of their remix career has seen the boys win "International Remixers Of The Year 1995" and seen them nominated for a prestigious GRAMMY award in 2002 for their remix of Samantha Mumba.

As the K-Klass DJ sound took clubs by storm with their floor filling sets which is always evolving and encompasses the many genres of "House music" from new to old school and from funky vocal to minimal electro this has led to appearances at luminary UK venues (past & present) alike. They are currently the Cream Classics residents and we can promise you that you're in for a treat when they're let lose on the ES turntables!

Joining K.Klass on the line up in the House and Electro Den, we have something very special to announce. Lizzie Curious (our new ressie) will be teaming up with partner in crime Simon Pisani to do an exclusive back to back set. This is a first for us and the London crowds and its sure to be energetic, pumping, uplifting, dirty and funky!! We can't wait! Preceding these guys we have invited the RPM DJs along. Made up of Danny C and Ricky Rpm, these two are associated with the massively growing RPM Magazine, which has hosted rooms at Koko for Push as well as Clubclass at the Ministry and even hosting their own night at the Whitehouse in Clapham. The mag itself includes a whole cross section of info and interviews from the clubbing scene. The duo will be providing us with a blend of dirty, vocal and driving house music, making this set a must see!

Completing the line up in the House and Electro Den with have one of the top DJs in Poland: DJ Lukass, who is now a resident at the superclub Ealing Boulevard in London. Lukass will be warming things up for local boy, house and electro king Tim Cullen who has already stamped his name on London with some real eye catching sets, most notably at Turnmills earlier in the year for Dirtbox.

The Bar Sessions this time are going to be something a little bit Special. RPM's very own Christiano will be kicking the night off in style and will be joined by the ever popular Formless, who absolutely smashed it at Turnmills earlier in the year and is beginning to really make a name for himself. Completing the line up will be Little Jo from Amplitude and Niall Gilliland from Affinity, Two DJs we're really excited about getting down to ES for the 1st time! Special guest Chris Rayner will be headlining and looking to tear things up with a mixture of all things house! Expect the very best in minimal, funk, dirty and tech house music from this talented group of DJs!!
