Simcut
This is quite possibly my favourite Jules Half-Hour Mix ever!
Moonman
Bassfly is a mah-ooooosive tune.
Moonman
this is one of the best hot mixes...It's bonkers but genius. Check out the "Get Tough" track for example - it's barmy. Whilst not tight the mixing really is something, it really flows. To pack 8 tunes into 30 mins is a bit funky too!
Neuro
I've no idea why such a random tracklisting is read out at the end; obviously it shows that this one was pre-recorded, but it also makes me wonder whether somewhere an unused pre-recorded 30-minute mix is lying around at the BBC. We'll never know.
Simcut
Nah I remember another show having that tracklist Jules mentioned on this show remember he says about Joe T Vanelli or something lol
Chewbs
Yeah..'twas an 'eh?' moment when Jules read the 'track listing' out, even though forewarned. As usual for my taste this set gets progressively better, particularly with Tillman & Ries, Burgy then York. A few more listens and am sure will appreciate the lesser known (to me) tracks. As I've said before, I initially omitted tracks that didn't give the feel that I'd get into them...like everybody else....so it's great to have the opportunity to listen in entirety! Quadrant
Only just seen this. That Moogwai remix of Bassfly is a fantastic bit of Trance. Lol, what the hell is Jules talking about at the end!? He reads out an entirely wrong tracklisting... definitely pre-recorded! Maybe the mix he actually reads out exists somewhere... in a dusty BBC vault, never broadcast...
