With buying MP3s you have nothing to sell on when you've done with it, like you have with vinyl. Effectively you only own the right to play that MP3 for your own use. And record bosses wonder why illegal downloading is so rampant. tbh, I'm getting sick of the whole 'add on' business when buying things online. We're currently trying to book a holiday and the headline price is significantly less due to add ons. The law changed so that they couldn't add on fuel surcharges and taxes, but now its add-ons for luggage, transfers, meals, etc. Apparently, Ryanair charged for oxygen on that plane that had to do an emergency landing recently.
