Huge beaker, huge chunks of ice, big chunk of crushed lemon, pure lemon juice from a jug, lemon skin pressed around the rim, 2/3 full of Tanqueray, and a splash of tonic (they give you rest of the tonic in the bottle because it won't fit in). In the hot sun it IS the most refreshing drink possible, and at 4 euros a go (£3.00 back then).... well, let's just say we all know where all my student loan went that year! I drank €€€€... For example, if you are stopped by the police for speeding on the autobahn (ja?), simply wind down your windows with the Trance going, and I'm sure they'll let you off?
