Chewbs
Very enjoyable little download -'specially when I check who did what somehow gives the tracks more credence. Anyhow first track I find that vocal a little creepy...bit reminiscent of KLF's 'Chillout'. But Push and Agnelli&Nelson, always (sycophant!). Hypnobounce not a fave but exonerated by that 'bass' coming in..(oh dear starting to sound a bit old rock-chick-ish)
Neuro
Anyhow first track I find that vocal a little creepy...bit reminiscent of KLF's chillout. If I'm not mistaken, the vocal in the first track is actually an example of Mongolian diatonic singing - it's an exceptionally difficult and tiring technique whereby a singer is able to two notes at once. You have the very low note sung, but at a very specific point and frequency in the vocal chords there can be produced a natural 'harmonic' note on top. I imagine it might have been digitally touched up for this track but that's the sound for sure. Strange but true!
Chewbs
Yeah....come to think of it, I vaguely remember the (KLF)CD cover having some sort of peasant imagery on it..(but that's nearly 20 yrs ago- yikes!)...even so, that's very clever stuff. FuzzY-LogiC
Neuro: now that's an interesting fact, thanks for that! I remember Jules playing this track (the VOODI remix though) when I first saw him in Denmark back in 2002... great track with good atmosphere
