mitchmix99 Posted November 25, 2012 Report Posted November 25, 2012 Not to point out the obvious but the unknown - unknown is Black and Jones - Cream (PVD mix) I think....! Missed this show so was good to hear it.... Mitchmix99
FuzzY-LogiC Posted November 25, 2012 Report Posted November 25, 2012 mitch: indeed it is TL updated...
Quadrant Posted December 1, 2012 Report Posted December 1, 2012 This is exactly how I remember Jules back then - starting off with some wonderful House tracks and then going all Trancey. Everybody should listen to this, something in there for everyone. Great upload
drtim Posted December 1, 2012 Author Report Posted December 1, 2012 One of my favourite sets from Jules, I used to get people to listen to this when they hadn't heard Jules or thought they didn't like dance. It usually did the trick!
lennox2s2s Posted December 2, 2012 Report Posted December 2, 2012 I clearly remember listening to this show like it was yesterday....the memories... Soulsearcher vs. Apollo 440 - 'Can't Get Enough' (Rejected EP) - what a tune!
drtim Posted December 2, 2012 Author Report Posted December 2, 2012 Same here! I was at home getting ready to go out. Had already heard Carl Cox on Bondi beach, recorded this set from Jules, then Pete's show from Cream, and finally set the timer to record Gatecrasher before heading out!! Ah the days before Listen Again!!
dj9928 Posted April 3, 2013 Report Posted April 3, 2013 I remember the trailers for this competition ran for week on Radio 1, I missed this at the time as I was already out of the piss at that stage, great to finally hear it, these tunes bring back so many memories of my youth IE (pre kiddie times)
drtim Posted October 14, 2016 Author Report Posted October 14, 2016 Just a minor update; 13. Jaydee - Plastic Dreams (David Morales Club Mix)
Spin Doctor Posted October 23, 2016 Report Posted October 23, 2016 Was this the competition which was advertised, I think, in Ministry? Also, does anyone hapen to have the whole millennium schedule? There is an interesting article from one of the engineers involved here: Eddie Gordon: Radio 1 Millennium

drtim Posted November 3, 2016 Author Report Posted November 3, 2016 What a night of superb broadcasting this was!!
Spin Doctor Posted March 13, 2021 Report Posted March 13, 2021 How awesome would it have been to get Jules to DJ for your own house party on the Millennium?
Ashthebash Posted March 20, 2021 Report Posted March 20, 2021 OMG I was there!!!, helping out local DJ Dave Pugh who played warm up for Jules, Probably the smallest crowd ever but was electric!!
Spin Doctor Posted March 20, 2021 Report Posted March 20, 2021 How did it all work? Did Radio 1 supply the sound system? How many people were there?
