Tracklist update and some extra information about a misidentified mix.

These bootlegs are really hard work to listen to!

A quintessential offering of this era from the Judge.

Judge Jules Interviews Larry Levan
01. Robert Owens – I’ll Be Your Friend (David Morales Mix)
02. Rare Earth – Happy Song Or Dance (Edit)
03. Jakki - Sun...Sun...Sun..
04. Tribe - Smoke
05. Basil Hardhouse – City Streets
06. No Smoke - Righteous Dub
07. Fingers Inc. – Mystery Of Love
08. South Shore Commission – Free ManA deep cut from Jules' time at Kiss FM. I think possibly the oldest recording on the archive? As there is no 1991 category on the track list section, I can't submit a separate tracklist.
Some really nice selections in this interview demonstrating the fruitful crossover between early Chicago house and Disco.

With 2022 now behind us, it's good to see that while the IDs and submissions slowed down last year, there is still a consistent drip feed of progress on the archive with some long standing gaps in knowledge plugged. For my part I didn't upload at the same rate as 2021 or 2022 but hopefully I will be able to uncover some more this year.
Wishing all the regulars a happy new year and I hope you are keeping well.

100%....Jules was untouchable towards the end of 99', which leads on to Clubbers guide to 2000. Disc 2 is still one of my all time favourites. A proper nostalgia trip.
That is unquestionably one of Jules' best ever CD mixes.
It's accessible but not cheesy. Diverse in genre but not disjointed. Selects underground cuts alongside commercial tones. Balances brighter moments with darker ones.
It really feels as if deep, intelligent artistic thought and had gone into crafting it. A simply perfect recording. If I had to sum up Jules (at his finest) with one mix CD this would be it.
And yet, after giving us something as artistically gratifying as this, somehow he'd go on to play hopeless acapellas in clubs and fake live streams.

One of the best recordings in this archive. Some iconic tunes here which encapsulate Jules in this era.

Sky News' head of politics interviews Judge Jules. Topics include the genesis of his name, DJs streaming and the Tim Westwood allegations.

@rewop, unfortunately I get a 403.

@Burien I really respect the fact that you felt compelled to correctly track list the ten seconds or so of Destination Sunshine!
Listened again last night and this really is a top recording with some excellent tracks, in particular the Dan Bailey mix.

Great mix and great effort for the IDs.

Thanks for uploading Fuzzy. Unfortunately this didn't capture my imagination but the effort is appreciated!
Edit 1: It's a shame DSI went under, I remember going on there quite a bit when it launched.
Edit 2: Dated 2010-03-01 according to Mixes DB: link.

Both Jules and Bond have top offerings here. Shame about the quality of the Jules recording but it's much more listenable if you render it in mono.

From this it reads as if you have completely disowned Jules musically. In my second post I was asking if this was the case or just about say the last 10-15 years?

@Saccara welcome to the board. I didn't realise that the Angelic tracks had been remastered so thanks for pointing it out. Unfortunately, Stay With Me is yet to be released though. Hopefully this will follow soon.

I no longer Take no interest in anything regarding judge tools as I call him these days. He needs to retire, past his sell by date massively.
Point taken about his public offerings recently, but does that justify ignoring his still worthy contributions from 90s/2000s?

Not the best of the 'late night lessons' tour, but still well worth a listen with plenty of good moments.

This recording really captures the spirit of the time. Thanks for the upload.

Hi mate, I pop in from time to time but there's not much happening! Did you see Jules on The Chase on Christmas Eve?
Completely missed this! I'll have to see if it's still on the iPlayer.
Always hopeful of new audio @Burien. I upload everythign I find to here and I am always hopeful there is more out there.
