Good to see you back for a one off Bjorn! I've not listened yet - tracklist looks reasonable, but I guess I hoped for a few less obvious classics from the years gone by. It is a shame that Radio 1 didn't make a bigger deal of the final show, after all they gave Tong a whole night on the station for his 20th anniversary but they couldn't even give Jules an extended show

Definitely sad that it has rolled around and will be his last ever R1 show. Seems like yesterday I tuned in for the first few times, exposed to some strange music I have never heard before, but instantly liked. Probably can't listen live but will definitely hit it up on the listen again next week

Tong is a legend - he pretty much brought dance music to Radio 1 and his excellent presenter style and ability to source the best new exclusives, guest mixes, interviews, etc means he is still definitely relevant. I would hope that he has a job there as long as he wants one - but as with any industry he will be judged on ratings and figures. It'll be the final nail if/when he leaves
