  1. If that goes for less than £700 its a bargain and a half.
  2. And Lynnie, forget Traktor, think I know exactly what you're after, and Traktor would probably boggle your mind. Serato is more like a record bag attached to your decks, has lots of other cool features that you probably wont use anyway, but I think you're like me, let the records and your hands do the talking, and I wouldn't swap it.
  3. The laptop I use at the moment really is utter mince, and runs Serato absolutely fine. Don't want to speak jibberish to you, but its only got half a gigabyte of ram, really is a s***r, so you do not need 2-4Gb. Although obviously its recommended. Serato runs better on my laptop than Internet Explorer, it really is low on computer needs.
  4. 5th Dec 2007 apparently, bloody hell. 684 posts as well, of which I'm sure only 300 have been drunken ramblings, 200 have been drunken arguments, 150 have been arguments with Briggsy, 30 have been youtube videos, and 4 posts have been completely full of ****'s, hence rendering them even more incoherent than the drunken ramblings. Try my best like.
  5. Nah don't be daft, people used to play that cos they couldn't get the original mix on vinyl Still gives me shivers if heard at the right time / volume. Oh, and used correctly as well, had to use it correctly, and if done right, became an absolute weapon of a tune.
  6. Used to always be Oliver Klein - Rheinkraft back in the day, more recently played ADJD - believe all the time for a couple of years.
  7. I love it when a dj simply mixes one after the other, really really really good tunes. To be honest it could be a monkey playing a drumkit, as long as it sounds good I don't care what Mr DJ is doing.
  8. Oliver Klein in 2000ish. Not single handedly I'll admit, but I'd say he was a 'spokesperson' of sorts for that sort of tech house around then. Also Corvin Dalek for creating his very own Wet & Hard genre which was f***ing mind blowing at the time, nice guy as well. Youtube Video ->
  9. I'll give you a wee clue, the name's at the top of the video before you click it In case I'm being an idiot and it actually doesn't, its MJ - Off the Wall (Basement Jaxx mix)
  10. Tiesto makes my blood boil, absolute c**k of a man, actually have irrational hatred for the man :wall: Especially this video, with his big fat mincing head and general spanneresque attributes, ARGH :wall: Youtube Video -> Can't think of another dj I even as much as dislike!
  11. Grade A nutter but absolute legend. Youtube Video ->Original Video Disappointed at the quality of the jokes though Only heard one really funny one that I can't even post here lol.
  12. That's the worst joke I think I've heard this year
  13. Still going with Barca again this year, a great team will beat a team of superstars any day, they've said they want 4 new players to strengthen.
  14. I can't believe I missed all of this today! Still think this foreigners ruining Britain is nonsense. How about for every hard working foreigner that gets in we send a dole sucking Brit off to that country? An exchange program of sorts. But seriously, as a white UK male that has lived here all my life, the talk of foreigners coming for an easy life, taking our jobs and as you say impacting our children's lives for the worse is so unfounded and aye pretty offensive. In my job I speak to lots of foreigners that are receiving benefits here so have a good understanding of just what they get exactly and some of the talk in here is just pure nonsense. I don't see many English people moving abroad to work, regardless of how "there are no jobs here" or how it is going down the pan. Foreigners don't come here cos its easy, they got off they're arses and decided they were willing to work.
  15. My town is a bit different in that it wasn't even a town until 1957, just a wee village, so as most of the history is fairly recent there's lots of cool past / present photos. Quite interesting the rapid changes, as it went from a village to Scotland's 5th largest town in just a few years. Rather glumly though, the most famous thing about it is it has more than 60 roundabouts. Well, Besides the fact I live in the area of the town that Aztec Camera are singing about when they sang "from Westwood to Hollywood" in this: (my mate lives next door to Roddy Frame's mum lol) Youtube Video -> Not to mention Ally McCoist, John Hannah, Muriel Gray, the Jesus & Mary chain and Lorraine Kelly lol.
  16. I was referring to the Adolf Brown comment, as you well know. Just want to point out I'm not sticking up for Hitler there (lol), and I'm aware its miles off topic, but I didn't just say that to wind anyone up. Anyone ever been to Checkpoint Charlie in Berlin? Utterly fascinating in the most astoundingly macabre way. Really knocked me for six as it sets in just how real it was.
  17. In what way exactly? Make sure they're dead before you burn them? What's your beef with gays?
  18. There's been quite a few songs released since I was born, at least 10 I think. Was just flicking through Youtube and found some "classics". Whats the worst you can do? Think there will definitely be loads I actually love in here. I'll get the ball rolling. 19. I see what you're saying, and to some extent I agree, but I can't really see a plus side at all at the moment. The only thing all this saga at the moment is doing is driving partys further and further apart, and in that losing sight of what is actually the right thing to do. Sad as it is, but unfortunately over the last few months, the only party with any real ideas that can be put into practice, whether wrong or right (and bearing in mind no one even knows who's actually in each party at the moment), is the Labour party*. All the other parties are all talk and smear, and would s*** themselves and f*** up the country further if they got into power at this chaotic stage. The country needs political rest just now, not a big mad political k-hole. *That in now way meant I'm a Labour party supporter. At the moment I feel like a genuine believer in religion, that has given up on finding a political "God" out there that I firmly believe he doesn't exist. (worst metaphor ever, but my dinner's ready likes
  20. Don't tar Hitler with that brush, besides the fact his ideals were outright wrong never mind pure evil and vastly misguided, the man, no matter what you say, was without doubt a political genius.
  21. But if you haven't! Its been ages since I properly p***ed myself laughing at a Youtube video, but Cassetteboy's done a new video and its brilliant!! Youtube Video -> If you've not heard any cassetteboy stuff before check out their other videos on youtube, especially the Gordon Brown, football and David Attenburgh ones!
