  1. Yeah but for some reason the CDs are worse. I don't know why. With the audio archive I prefer the studio sessions as opposed to the live mixes and that might be why. The old radio shows cheer me up

  2. Track 4. La Luna - To the beat of the drum [ethics EP] (mash up with .......- Fire?)

    Track 5.

    Track 6.

Track 7. Romero - What hope Have I (not sure what mix)

    Track 8.

    Track 9.

    Track 10.

Track 11. Helicopter - On ya way (not sure what mix)

    Track 12.

Track 13. Hed Boys - Girls and Boys (Mo Hed Mix 2?)

Track 14. Movin Melodies - (not sure what mix)

Track 15. The Shaker - Just lick it

    Track 16.

    Track 17.

    Track 18.

    Track.19.

    Gave up for now.

Thanks for the upload though, proper trip down memory lane. Some of the mixing in this makes me sound good! 😉

  3. I don't play these compilations, as it makes me depressed that I'm not back there anymore. I looked at the track listing on here and the tunes popped straight into my head again.

That Solar Factor tune I've got on 12" I used to play it constantly.

I went to Jules' launch party of this too I think.

    Top CD!

  4. I have a few podcasts that I download and can rely on for a few good new tunes, just for recreational listening, but I never listen to the radio anymore. I miss that feeling of being tuned into something that lots of other people are also listening to at the same time. I also miss that connection with the DJ that you get with radio.

I was playing a download from here yesterday, from Kiss in 1992, when I almost permanently had the radio on, for fear of missing an amazing tune that I couldn't hear anywhere else. I realised I missed listening to Jules, but not only Jules, just radio in general.

    Anyone, get what I mean?

    :smirk:

  5. I prefer vinyl, just because it feels more intense. Beatmatching by ear, the big chunky records, seeing the music!!

Now I have had a go at CD mixing, I was shit at it.

I have done MP3 ing too but it was boring and soulless.

I'm not amazingly skilled like a lot of other people I know, if I were, I would probably be mixing MP3s nowadays. But for me, music is a hobby and the only time it's fun to mix is when it's with 12 inches. ☺️
