  1. I'll send you Studio 613 if you don't have it in any form. It goes under a few names online, 'Hi Boppers - Journey To The Moon' is another one.
  2. Join Me To The Moon by Studio 613 & Playa Sol by No-one Driving are actually pretty rare, you can't download them legally or illegally anywhere. I bought them on vinyl a couple of years back. The Playa Sol tune is actually a limited test pressing, as there was a version remixed by Novacane that came out in 2002 I think. The Novacane one had a woman on the vocal and sounded far weaker than the version on here. Sadly Playa Sol was broken clean in half when it came through the post (thanks Royal Mail), I got some double sided tape and strapped it to an old white label of some crap garage tune that came out of a collection. It plays all the way through, but I took some weight off the needle and captured in wav format so I could play it on my CDJ's.
  3. I remember listening to the latter days of his Saturday night show around 2007, and he randomly dropped F.R.A.N.K T.R.A.X. Nebuchan amongst a load of new tracks in the last half an hour of his show. He did this as well with Gladiator 'Now We Are Free' a couple of years back too. He may have been short on decent recent stuff at the time, something he should of done more often I thought though.
  4. I thought his mixing was a bit off key compared to his Saturday show that was broadcast a few hours before! Saying that I can't argue with his track selection mind, Airwave & Fire and Ice are just so special. As for this being an hour, I'm sure he shared the essential mix that Sunday morning with Paul Van Dyk who did the first hour and Jules the second. This file has just been edited to include Jules, but I've heard PVD's hour on soundcloud. I was only 12 at the time this went out so wasn't old enough to be there. But it looked a good setup, is it still going in some form?
  5. I wouldn't be suprised if they are both here, you can download as of now because you've already posted. Happy hunting.
  6. http://www.discogs.com/Spacedust-Music-Feels-Good-With-You/release/61989 I think it's just a built up version of the original, I can't really hear the Bucketheads in there. On the other side of my vinyl is the Stuntmasterz bootleg with Madonna's Holiday, it sounds like they used the Spacedust version as the foreground for their mashup. Anyway, this needs to be sorted on the tracklistings.
  7. Does anyone know what remix of Stardust this is? It certainaly isn't the original. Never mind, it's actually this version. I found it on a white label i just re-discovered in the cupboard!
  8. Ah yes, Playa Sol. That version is the remade one 'No-one Driving vs Novacane' or something like that, i think that version lacked compared to the original. Luckily I have both Studio 613 & the Original version of Playa Sol (as played on this show) on vinyl. The MP3's are nowhere to be found, legal or illegal amazingly.
  9. Just simply can't stop listening to this mix. I think this just might be the 'Club Mix Instrumental', as shown here:-
  10. My guess is good old Minidiscs, as they held the same # of minutes as a normal CD (or double on LP mode) and were much more portable. Sony's clever ATRAC encoding sacrificed a touch of treble-end which is hardly noticeable I can't hear a break in the show though, it's kind of like it was plugged straight into the computer the way i used to record. Being as there's no 'FM fizz' either it must have been recorded through digital TV, Sky or Cable.
  11. i've got to ask. how did this get captured with the quality as high as it is? it was a much more difficult task to do in 2001 than now, or so i assume.

  14. i have hurricane on vinyl so i presume it would be better to leave it as it was finally named.
  15. I have Hurricane on vinyl somewhere. There's the Dub version on there, and on the other side a vocal version which I don't remember Jules playing at all. I remember the Opera Song being called 'Alphaland' or something, and under Darren Tate and not Jurgen Vries.
  16. You know when a track sets something off in your mind, and you remember it from years back? I knew about the original Drum & Bass version, but couldn't remember what the title of the garage remake was. This is quite a set yet again though, i really like Judge Jules' mix of the Trevor Reilly tune.
  17. i remember studio 613 & no-one driving pretty well. last year when i downloaded this show i tracked both of them down on vinyl, you can't find any trace of them online to download (legal or otherwise). not even on youtube, examples of forgotten gems for me then. the tall paul mix of stringer and soul heaven would still work anywhere today i think, sadly the bpm is probably too quick to squeeze in with something else which is modern.
  18. i recorded some dance anthems, from 2004 onwards though.
  19. todays the day folks. sadly i will be working so i won't be listening live, but i'll be setting the sky + up to record it. there's no way i'm missing this. i will be making more of an effort to download his podcasts though, and i will go to see him dj a few times before he packs in. although many on here agree it's not what it used to be, still sad times.
  20. as much as i still like tong, and he is always trying to move on with new music. i get the feeling radio 1 are hanging onto him for another year so they won't get the backlash if they got rid of all the house dj's at once.
  21. i've said it before. but if radio 1 are that scared that young people won't listen to dj's because of their age (bare in mind they can't see them), then why is westwood still there?
  22. no matter how much they deny it, the implications of skream & benga leaving radio 1 someday will pale in comparison to what's going to happen on friday.
  23. i used to have a dab plugged straight into my computer but since the i player improved on listen again it's been pointless. the feed from sky, freeview and cable for radio 1 is 192kbps that's why i recorded the odd show via digital tv. for anyone who does record it, it might be worth setting the timer 10 minutes before and 10 minutes after his show in case he has any banter with annie mac or kutski.
  24. this is, hands down. one of my top three judge jules shows, i just can't stop playing this in the car.
  25. just a thought, but is anyone recording his final show? i've been saving the last few weeks from the i player since it was said he was leaving. but it might be worth sky +'ing the last one so we can have a full 192kbps rip for the archive. i might set mine to record.
