Nice submission this. Tracklisting corrections welcome.
Simcut, is this your audio? Let me know if so and I'll change the file authorship
-
I've no idea why such a random tracklisting is read out at the end; obviously it shows that this one was pre-recorded, but it also makes me wonder whether somewhere an unused pre-recorded 30-minute mix is lying around at the BBC.
We'll never know.
-
Massive respect for those tracklisting corrections - file updated. Cheers!
-
Our mystery bootleg in this mix (Track 13) which was confusingly later released with re-done vocals under the artist Eye To Eye (on Xtravaganza label) is, as Moonman has revealed to us, the "Rejected EP" release here:
-
1st one you mentioned is:
Supa. T & The Party Animals - 'Love & Repect' [summer Breeze] - discogs.com entry
No info for the second one, their discogs entry is here but's as far as I got.
Have you checked the inlay cards to the CD/cassette? Should have a very detailed tracklisting with names / publishers etc... Hope that helps.

Im not sure whether the artists have actually been listening to the clips. i have had a couple say that the link is not working only for me to find that when i send it over myspace, spaces are automatically put between the full stops and words in the address. some will realise and take out the spaces, others may not
Did you send them direct links to the two clips hosted on this site? If so, I'm very surprised if they found the clips were not working, because we have had no downtime on the main server for ages.
-
All excellent suggestions. We'll throw Matt Darey an email too as well - does no harm.
Gaz I know you were joking but that's actually not a bad suggestion! If it brings the artist out of the woodwork, I'll get on the case later this year with Noff and analyse the track to try and replicate it as closely as possible.
-
Ah yep, sorry I totally missed that.
If we don't find the artist, maybe I'll remake this someday and get it released myself!
-
Agnelli & Nelson?
-
Significant that it not Paul's because although it doesn't sound like his style, it would explain why Jules had it and apparently no-one else.
I think we need to look closer to home (the UK) if we are to hunt down this artist.
-
You're welcome. Hope you enjoy the other audio on here too.
Welcome to the board!
-
Bumping this thread because we've approved an updated file submission!
-
Good work Gaz - welcome to this board by the way... I've seen you prowling Tranceaddict.com so hopefully you'll become a regular on here too
My bet on this track now reside with Rank 1 ... do you reckon you can get in contact with them and ask?
I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with Crazy Malamute - firstly because the mix we're all familiar is a guitar remix, and secondly the bend is nothing like the original. I reckon you can write them off pretty safely.
Failing that, it could be a shelved project by Paul Masterson, which would explain why only Jules seemed to have this.
The hunt continues.

I don't think people are aware of the massive archive of audio we have on here, so here' a direct link to the grand list!
> You need to click on the Audio Archive link at the top of the forums (by the Gallery Archive).
New sets are added continually throughout the year and so we advise you to keep checking back here! You can even check what new audio has been submitted since your last visit, and use its internal audio search engine if you can't find what you're looking for... as a last resort you can always send a PM (private message) to myself or any of the mod team.
Above all though, here's hoping the audio brings back some good memories for everyone

Special thanks to Hardaway for originally providing a previous version of this set for download.
We recommended people re-download this version which is longer and better quality!
-
Good work Jason. Would be grateful if you and Simon double checked all those as they'll apply to many other tracklistings!
24. Gold 'n' Delicious - 'Ascension' [white label]
- would also have been the Lange Remix, I presume...
-
14. Angelic - 'Can't Keep Me Silent' (Mix #1) [white label]
Interesting charting how this developed, because this is the very first time this was ever played, it seems. There are some extra vocal titbits that were edited out later and a less wholesome-sounding bassline in this early version.
Then Jules played a new version a couple of weeks later (Manchester, available here), when it was (for me anyway) at its perfect stage. From what I can hear, that version seems identical to the official release apart from the addition of some kind of breakbeat over the top of the breakdown - no idea why that was necessary! :rubbish:
-
Poltergeist is also an alias for.... Art Of Trance!
Also more trivia - the I:Crunch outfit folded immediately after releasing that Dave Clarke track in 2000. The reason (incredibly) was that at the time there was virtually no demand for digital music such as mp3s, so they made no money. I believe the same track was pressed onto 500 vinyl copies though, if I remember rightly.

Bumping this topic temporarily to reactivate old thread which is only now visible.
Would really appreciate some IDs here everyone, if you think you possess the knowledge!
-
Does any one know anything about this track? Absolutely love, searched the internet but this is the only site that mentions it
Yes, it's an error on the tracklistings I need to correct; entry should be:
Eufex - 'Junkie Monkey' [Arriba Records]
Some for sale here - I'd fork out for the Near Mint copy for a fiver on display

PM sent You can view your messages by clicking here.
Thanks again!
-
You have just been sent a PM Thanks for getting in contact!
-
Forgot to say also, I'm not sure Jules' wife could hear herself properly when she did the live vocals
-
Saturday, 5:00pm - 5:30pm
Live from the Serious float at The Radio 1 Love Parade, Leeds
01. Storm - 'Time To Burn' [Data]
02. Da Hool - 'Eichelrück' (MG Remix) [Additive]
03. Hi-Gate - 'Caned & Unable' [incentive]
04. Wicked Phunker - 'Jungle Boogie' (Black Legend vs. J Reverse Mix) [Rise]
05. Zombie Nation - 'Kernkraft 400' [Transk]
06. Angelic feat. Amanda O'Riordan - 'It's My Turn' [serious]
Am I right or wrong in saying that there was also another broadcast by Jules a bit later on?

Hope someone can help with this tracklisting - I've had a go, somewhat unsuccessfully!
There may be more tracks as well, so take this as a rough guide. Wonderful mix though.
P.S. Watch out for the massively scratched track of "No Fate" which is sadly abandoned by Jules (he had no choice!)... before Cafe Del Mar
