  1. How many people who DJ can still manually beat match I wonder?
  2. Any hints on the price point? With no additional features I see no need to migrate from my beloved 1210s!
  3. An almost 2 minuite long breakdown made me raise an eyebrow, but fair play for making that work. Good quality production.
  4. Qontact 2001 - The energy, flow and mixing of that set are all outstanding.
  5. Tremor, I'm not too far away and might be interested in a few purchases. I wouldn't be looking to lift the lot but pick up a few tunes. Everything on your discogs?
  6. Verdi is an epic tune. Neatly summarises the techy, trancy harder sound Jules used to excel at during his peak.
  7. Quite ironic. I got into Dave Clarke and techno via Jules and remember this spat at the time. DC's now my fovourite DJ. If you like proper techno and electro, I highly recommend his White Noise Radio show.
  8. Incidentally, Jules' mixing wasn't too bad. Tune selection was weak at best thought.
  9. Seb Fontaine b2b Tall Paul - Good Scott Bond - Excellend Judge Jules - Weak Had to go home during Solar Stone, but would have liked to see the rest of his set and Signum.
  10. Very disappointing. While I a willing to accept that Jules has an incentive to play some contemporary music to cater for his younger fan base, he really got the balance last night wrong. Why did every other DJ on the line up understand the design brief (for want of a better phrase) of a 1998/1999 classics night? Scott Bond though was amazing.

back to the front front to the back! Klubbheads in your house causing a heart attack!

      Or something....

      welcome back :)

  13. Once again, my thanks. Quadders and JCB you are both gentlemen of the highest order!
  14. Thanks for your thoughs. As a result of this, I've increased the mid/high end of the track and made a shorter edit.
  15. Can't believe that you didn't think Silence was good enough for others to hear. It's a top tune mate!
  16. Bit late to the party on this one, but sounding really good mate. The filter/distortion you've got on the pad in the breakdown is top notch.
  17. So, over the last few weeks, when everyone was busily mixing on their secret santa sets, I was working on a tune that I'd roughed out back in 2004. A "banging tune" with its roots firmly placed in the turn of the millennium, when people had yet to realise that the Roland Juno hoover sound had already been done to death by the mid-90s and thought that Hard House was really cool. A few tweeks are still needed, but I welcome any comments before the final mixdown and mastering is done. You can listen here, via sound cloud: Scream Electric - Moon Base Delta Or you can head over the the myspace: http://www.myshttp://www.myspace.com/screamelectric Sadly, no one commented on my last effort so if you feel like wandering over to this thread and having a listen I'd be very happy: 0 replies for 35 views.
  18. No idea. Something to keep disco biscuits in?!
  19. Juno also do various sundries such as generic record sleeves, plastic covers, etc.
  20. What turntables do you have emy?
  21. Nice review. Looks an awesome night. If Kent was anywhere near I'd have been up for going to that! What happened to your planned clubbing retirement?
  22. No sugar, no carbs, two calories, just 'energy'? Thats an, errr...interesting claim. Probably is a bottle of poppers to be honest. It'll be just as good for you.
  23. Well done fella! I wonder if postmen have the same reputation as milkmen with the lady folk? Pat was clearly playing the game. :whistling:
  24. The darey mix of Grooveline is one of my favorite ever, not only trance tunes, but pieces of electonic. The brooding buildup, slightly darker overall sound; fantastic! In the main stay, everyone goes on about people like Ferry/Armin/Tiesto when they think of trance classics of this era, but Darey was the equal, if not better, to those guys. If you've not got it, make sure you track down the promo 12" as the edit on the main release is faded out half way.
  25. Awesome tune that one! Doubt you'll find a digital release though.
